Love my wilton pans. Made well and bake evenly.

After much research and the reading of MANY reviews, I purchased two of these 10" x 3" pans. First, the Wilton name still means quality, in most cases. Second, it had straight sides, not slanted, which I needed for my grandson's birthday cake. Third, the detailed directions on how to prepare, clean, and store the pans was included. Do NOT put them in the dishwasher. They are nonstick, so they are super easy to HANDWASH and dry. Do NOT stack them inside one another without protection (They come in a separate plastic bag. You can store each pan in its own bag and store them that way.) These pans are for people who are careful about their baking tools and know not to use metal tools in them, nor stack them, nor leave them in sinks, etc. They'll last for a very long time, if you take the time to care for them. This pan makes a huge cake but it takes so long to bake all the way through that the edges tend to pull in 1/2" or more. Fix that with a set of Wilton baking strips (http://www.amazon.com/Wilton-Large-Bake-Even-Strips/dp/B0000DDXL6?tag=thelinactsho-20) and you'll never bake without them again. This pan needs two strips if you fill it more than 1/3 with batter, btw. Layer the bottom with parchment paper, spray a little non-stick spray on the sides and a bit on the bottom to keep the parchment paper in place and the cake will just fall out. Cleanup is a breeze: sponge or nylon-wrapped scrubber does it. Treated right these pans last a very long time so I may never have to buy another. (My apologies to Wilton's profits.)

These little cake pans work great! I made a 2 layer cake for Easter. The height was great and looked cute without icing the sides, just the middle and top and decoration on the top. Cooked evenly, used parchment paper on the bottom for easy removal from the pan. Washed up easily. Nice thickness, not thin or flimsy.

This is a Nice Round Baking Pan by Wilton, and it is 12 inches Wide by 3 Inches Tall, a very Generous Size to make a Big Cake. I ordered Two of Them, one of the Pans looks like is been thrown around, it's full of Dents and Scratches. These Pans are Described as "Professional Aluminum Bakeware" The Aluminum is very light and very Thin, although they are Well Made in China, I could tell right away, also the Product Description says: "To Last a Lifetime" I don't think that will be the case with mine, they are easy to get Dent and Scratched, however, the Pans are Good Enough to Bake Good Cakes and that was the first thing I did when I Received them I like using Baking Pans that are Light in Color, that is what Professionals Bakers use, when using a Dark Color one, the Cakes have the tendency to Brown too much and the outside forms a Crust and Hard Ridges becoming too dry, I want the Cakes to be Tender all the way through and these Pans Bakes them to a Perfectly Light Golden Brown. I always Butter and Flour the Pans and Line them with Parchment Round Paper that I cut out myself, is easy and simple to do, and will insure that the Cakes will release from the Pans without any problems. The Cakes I made with Wilton Baking Pans, came out Great, light in Color and without any Mishaps. I do prefer a Heavier Aluminum Baking Pan and got many of those by another Brand Name Made in the USA. "Wilton Decorator Preferred" 14 by 3 inches Baking Pan and According to the Use and Care Instructions: Do Not Place in Dishwasher and Avoid using Metal Utensils,... I like to Wash mine by Hand, anyways, I want the Pans to keep looking as Good as Possible for a Long Time, especially these ones, The Pans arrived very Fast and Not without any Dents! ...Thank You D.D.

I love this round pan. Baked in it and I was very satisfied how my cake came out.

I bake a lot and am very partial to Wilton products. I have had great success with the cakes when I use Wilton pans. The only thing I wish was included with this pan is baking rods. Due to the thickness of the cake, a baking rod is needed for the cake to bake evenly in the center. So I recommend that rods are purchased if a 3” deep or deeper pan is used.

This pan being tall is just the best thing, and these Wilton pans are really well made and a good value for the money. I use pre-cut unbleached parchment for these and my cakes come out beautifully every time, there's less rising with a tall pan, at least with my recipes, and my cakes bake more evenly

Tempo di cottura 30 minuti a 98 gradi perfetto (con cottura tradizionale a bagno maria minimo 1-1,30 minuti). Risultato eccellente la cottura risulta uniforme cremosa e si sforma benissimo. 5 stelle stampo bellissimo il prezzo un po' altino ma la qualita' e' eccellente.
