Great basket
I use this on my blackstone with aluminum pans to deep fry. Works great!

I will buy it again
made from fairly heavy stainless steel stock and welded together. That hook device welded to the mesh on the bottom is handy for draining oil after the food has been fried. The mesh is fine enough to hold anything, although some rather small bits of loose breading, flour, or corn meal may fall through it during frying. The oil stayed fairly clear of debris when I used it.

Not 8+ inches wide
See my 10.25 inch wide (inside measurements) fryer. Not even close. See pic!

An excellent replacement product
I have a top of the line flash fryer (deep fryer) and this I purchased as a replacement for my old fryer basket. Couldn't be more pleased. I throw it in the dishwasher when done cooking and it comes out looking like new every time.

Good sturdy basket for the money.
This basket was a lot heavier and easier to work with than the one that came with my deep fryer.
