Rapid Classic K1 Plier Stapler, Chrome (90119)

I used this stapler to bind the edges of a carpet remnant to make a few area rugs. It worked perfectly. It didn’t jam, held a decent amount of staples, was easy to load, and didn’t take too much effort to squeeze. My hand did not cramp which was awesome considering how many staples I used. Great product and a great value.

Purchased this stapler and staples after another, recommended product, was a disappointing failure. This stapler works flawlessly. I used it in the garden to wrap shrubs, etc to protect from rabbits and other critters. Works well. Recommended.

My husband and I bought a pizza restaurant in December where we use paper bags for the pizzas that must be stapled shut, and the previous owners were using Archer or Anchor staplers--they were terrible. A graveyard of past staplers were lying in the storage room, and the current ones had to be slammed on the table in order to work (I suspect the slamming on the table may have also led to their failures...). So, in an effort to find a more reliable stapler that would not require slamming, I researched and bought a Rapid Classic 1 Plier Stapler and an Ace Stapler, both ranking well here on Amazon. It's been 6 months, and in the past week, the Ace has quit on us almost completely. It needs delicate re-engineering every couple of uses, and that's just not efficient in this kind of work environment. The Rapid was having some problems, but that was due to standard staples being inserted into the stapler instead of it's special staples. So, there's the one drawback--it needs special staples. Otherwise, I'm buying two more today. One to replace the Ace, and one just in case my employees succeed in breaking one of them. However, I expect that I'll still have quite some time before that day comes. UPDATE 9/13/16: We still haven't needed that replacement stapler. Very impressed with the longevity and quality of these staplers. And relieved to finally have found something that resists my employees daily attempts to break it.

Best stapler you can buy! I had one that was my Dad's for years and it finally broke. I was so happy this model was still around.

Easy to use stapler for most stapling jobs. It will last a long time.
