I purchased 4-pk 18oz hot&spicy 8/24/19 and 2-pk are ALL mold! and exp date is 11/09/2020

We apologize you received a product that is not up to our high standard of quality. Each bag that leaves our facilities is checked by our quality team and stamped with our Jack Link’s Guarantee seal. If the jerky is somehow exposed to oxygen throughout the transportation or shelving process, it could result in mold. Is this jerky susceptible to spoilage due to heat during shipment?

Highly unlikely, it's dried, sealed and has moisture control pack present. Unless there was some kind of contaminant present. I've only see beef jerky mold once in my lifetime and was smaller company with questionable Jerky. We ship to where we are all the time and weather here in summer is up to 120 degrees.

Jack Links Original Beef Jerky

My personnal taste - it's better than others that I have used. Very little gristle almost every piece was tasty and chewed right up. I've used 4 bags now with the same great quality. The meat is tender and not hard as a rock to chew. The Original has a very good flavor. If you get Old Trapper or Tillamook you'll wish you had Jack Links.

Great Jerky, Fresh

I love Jack Link's Beef Jerky. I almost didn't order it due to the reviews about the mold, but thought I'd give it a shot anyway, because it's so much cheaper than the in-store prices. Mine arrived in great shape, and was fresh. The only issue I have with it is the same I have with all the jerkies these days. They're all too moist. There really shouldn't have to be an expiration date, which is, or was, the point of jerky in the first place. I open the bag and lay out the pieces on paper towels on a plate and let it dry. Of course, I have to hide it in the microwave, or it I'd eat it all before it had a chance to dry.

Good Size

I am not really a jerky fan myself, but I buy this product twice a year for my stepson, and he is always very happy to get it. This is the first time I have gotten a 2-pack - I normally just get the individual ones - but I thought the price was reasonable, so I would purchase it again.
