For people with shallow muscle pain, it works well, but for deep muscle you may find Biofreeze to work slightly better. I think with many pain relief products different people have different results. Our bodies all react differently, and there is no magic cure for long lastly pain. This works well for SCIATIC PAIN, and for nerve pain related to a SCI. For other types of nerve pain, I can only hope it works as well. This is NOT a super long lasting pain killer, but does work well for short term relief, which is a great thing to get muscles to unlock and help settle things down.

I don't mind the smell of icy hot but my kids always give me a hard time telling me it smells up the room. While this is not odorless, nobody complains when I use it. Its a roll on so it doesn't get your hands messy but I've found I need to give it a few minutes to dry before adding clothing back over where it was applied. Seems good and can definitely take the edge off some sore muscles. I tried it on a shoulder with a pinched nerve and no dice. Can't win 'em all I guess.

I have a great deal of lower back and leg pain. Using this product nightly just before bed helps to relax me and reduce pain. The roller ball is wonderful for massaging the muscles while applying the medication. I apply freely to legs and back. By the time I am in bed, the lidocaine has started its work and the massage from the roller ball has started the relaxation. I know OTC products affects individuals differently. I have RA and cellulitis while my husband has herniated discs. For us, it helps immensely.

Its effect does not last foreever as expected but it does help is annoying sensation from mosquito bites. Have not used on other insect bite yet. I have also used on itching skin problem, which prevented skin damage. It is large than it looks at prodcut description but still portable. I also bought small wipe packets made by Safetec that is even more portable.

Easy to use and very effective. Using it for my sciatic pain. It works well and last a long time. Takes 5 or 6 minutes to start working, so be patient. Neutral odor and the roll-on quick dry application makes it easy to use—even on the go. Worth a try. Hope it works for you.
