Great simple front dash cam. I actually purchased this in 2019 and it is still going strong. Ease of installation, suction cup holds well, but has fell off in the heat, so had to wet the cup and it was fine. This is powered by a 12v cigarette lighter socket. As I have had it for so long, the sheath covering the wires has become exposed, as one car socket would not power off, resulting in constant removal which has caused wear. I also never wired it in, so cables were often left on the floor, not ideal admittedly. I have put the memory card in the laptop and viewed footage and edited and sent clips to dashcam sites. The image quality is clear and good for the price of this item. I get a discount on insurance. I would buy again but recommend getting the wire fitted properly.

When I purchased this camera, tbh I didn’t have very high expectations - for the price point -all I wanted was the look of having a dashcam - but the product is excellent - easy to set up, simple to use and great quality video, I’ve had to use the video twice since purchase - no accidents just showing bad driving- and quality is excellent - These are definitely and fantastic value for money with great quality - Customer Service is also great - I had a small issue after 6mths with the suction cup and it was resolved immediately without any fuss.

For £35, you can't expect 5 star quality, but this is easily 4 star. I have had one for 6 years now, and when I realised that the dashcam in my wife's car, a Nextbase, was corrupting the video being created when the engine was turned off, I realised I needed another one of these. I tested it, and it doesn't have the same issue as the Nextbase model (at it's 3x cheaper). For those interested, it's to do with no 'finishing' the video file gracefully before power goes. Anyway. For that reason, I have bought another Orskey to replace the Nextbase. Yes the video quality is lower, but it's good enough. Orskey supply necessary leads (USB-A to Mini USB, cigarette lighter adapter to Mini USB), although I have it hard-wired in as it's just easier (and doesn't hog the cigarette lighter slot). Setup is super easy, you get either a suction pad or sticky pad to use with the mount, I have gone with the suction in both vehicles which is mostly good enough. They tend to fall off if the car sits in hot sunshine for long periods but it's easy to reattach. All in all, very pleased at this price-point.

I have bought three Orskey Dash Cams over the last few years (two front facing only and one front and rear facing) and have been totally impressed with the reliability, build quality and footage obtained. They are easy to install, are supplied with a quality memory card and I would highly recommend them as being great value for money.

I bought two of these dash cams, one for our SUV and one for our city car. Delivery was impressively quick, arriving a day earlier than expected. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and sturdiness of the dash cams themselves. Given the price, I anticipated a cheap plastic product, but they’re actually well-assembled with a robust metallic finish. Everything needed for installation was included, except for the necessary micro SD cards. The instruction manual was one of the clearest and most detailed I’ve seen – easy to follow and very thorough. After reading it and watching a couple of YouTube videos, I managed to set up and install both dash cams in about 30 minutes, which was faster than I expected! When I tried to activate the warranty online, my order number kept being rejected, which was frustrating. However, I used the QR code provided in the manual to reach customer service via WhatsApp, and surprisingly, even on a Saturday evening, they quickly registered the dash cams for me. I tested both dash cams today, and they worked flawlessly. The screen resolution is much better than I anticipated, offering clear, sharp video, which isn’t always the case with 1080p resolution. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend this dash cam!

First thoughts. On first handling this I thought that I had just purchased a nice upgrade on my old dashcam. Sep up was nice and simple, the camera itself felt heavy and of surprisingly good quality, even the power connector felt better quality than I've handled before. The first trip out. Well, it wouldn't come on. I kept re-seating the power in the cigarette lighter. Held down the power switch but it resolutely refused to spark to life. Around 10 minutes into the journey, it decided that now would be a good time to burst to life and it stayed happily recording until a few minutes from my destination and then decided that it was now time to switch off. The journey home, it worked fine. The second trip. Came on fine first time, worked for about 20 minutes, decided to call it a day. The journey home, not so good. Off it went after about 15 or so minutes. Third time lucky? The third trip was more of the same worked for a while, switched off, worked for a while, switched off. The return trip was even better... worked until the end of the road, switched off.... switched back on, worked until I got around the corner to the first set of lights.... switched off, worked a further 10 minutes and..... you guessed it...off it went. So, sadly had to return it, had there been an option to replace it instead of returning it I feel like I would have taken the replacement as I'm sure mine was just faulty and as mentioned I was impressed with the build quality. Thus 3 stars. And the suggestion that maybe the manufacturer put some effort into quality control.

This is a great dash cam! We had ordered one in 2020 as a gift for someone. They said it was the best gift they had ever received. We thought we should buy one for ourselves. Which we did The video quality is really good & records to perfection it’s so much better than the one that we bought before which was much more expensive it was basically useless. This one is much more reliable for a reasonable price. I would recommend this to anyone that is interested in buying a dash cam for themselves you can’t go wrong.

I write this review based on decades of experiences as a consumer, property owner, photographer and driver. Reviews on this car cam are a mixed bunch but happily read as being much more likelihood to be honest reviews that have not been written by paid users or employees. I take my writing reviews very seriously. The cost of this carcam is a little above the average for basic entry equipment. You have to add the cost of an appropriate SD card which in this day and age is a sad failure. My card, of decent quality cost just shy of an additional £10.00. I have prime membership and the camera was delivered very quickly. (Less than 24 hours) I cannot say what delivery will take for non prime members. MY MAJOR CRITICISM AND LOSS OF STAR. The instructions booklet will be fairly useless to a huge number of users. The print is incredibly small by least half of the print that you are reading now. Font 2. I need reading glasses at power 2 but still had to use a powerful magnifying glass. Instructions themselves are amongst the best that I have encountered as too many are incapable of making any sense. These instructions are fairly clear. THE CAMERA. There are a number of push buttons for functions such as menus or zoom. The buttons are a decent size and easy to use AS YOU HOLD THE CAMERA. Using the buttons when the camera is in place could be, no, will be very awkward for the majority of users so best advice is to set everything up B4 mounting. I completed the Date, time and loop preferences nice and quickly. Attaching the camera to the windscreen mount is by screwing the mount and camera together in the same way as an everyday camera to a tripod. A blinking red light is present whilst in use. The picture is a little darker than I would like and I can find no reference in the instructions to lighten the recording pictures. I have not used the review of filmed material. The camera appears to be made of a moulded hardened plastic. Connection to the supplied power cable is simple. The cable (which ends in a gigarette lighter type plug) is very long but this is intended to allow cable to trace around windscreens and similar. A shorter usb cable is supplied for attaching to a computer or similar. Overall, I am happy that all is as it should be. All is working as it should at present.

Works, but quite slow. Connecting takes time, comparing to some other models where you can unplug with one move, when leaving the car. Good price.

C'est une excellente caméra. J'en ai mis une à l'avant et une à l'arrière dans ma voiture (Kia Cee'd SW 2017) et elles fonctionnent parfaitement. J'ai sauvegardé plusieurs vidéos pour des altercations avec des conducteurs idiots ou pour d'autres évènements et la qualité d'image est très bonne.Très bon produit.

Eine kleine, leicht zu montierende Kamera. Die Voreinstellungen sind einfach zu bewerkstelligen. An Zigarettenanzünder angeschlossen, hierbei schaltet sie sich zu. Nach Fahrtende wieder vom Bordnetz getrennt, Kamera schaltet sich ab (gemäß meinen Einstellungen). Aufnahmen auf Speicherkarte liegen in völlig ausreichender Qualität vor, selbst bei Dämmerungs- und Nachtfahrten. Details wie Kennzeichen, Verkehrsbeschilderungen u. a. sind gut zu erkennen. Für den Preis völlig ausreichend!
