Original GM Part - Perfect Fit
Perfect fit for a 2007 Suburban V8. This is an original GM part. It was an easy install that took less than 35 minutes. Three weeks after I installed this throttle body injector and it's running perfectly.

Great product
I was able to install this myself and reprogram my vehicle, my vehicles performance improved significantly. In watching videos, they advise you do not touch the flange inside of it because it is computer controlled. Just a word of caution!

Reasonable priced replacement part.
I liked it was a OEM part, and it bolted right up. To bad I had to have mine programmed. Trucks never ran better, increased MPGs by gallon and smoother swifts. Just wish I would of bought a bigger one.

Works Perfect. RE-Manufactured unit
2008 Chevrolet Suburban 5.3L. This unit worked perfectly. Check engine light is off, reduced power mode longer triggered, traction control system is operational , hard shifting and stalling corrected. This vehicle even went into a NO crank mode. Battery disconnect was the reset for that prior to throttle body install. I would have given 5 starts. But the unit I received is a RE-Manufactured part. The body is painted silver with transmission paint. Throttle plate is new, Black TPMS Sensor cover and clips are new. I would assume that the TPMS sensors are new also. Idle Relearn procedure is easy and straight forward. Idle engine for 3 minutes Turn engine off for 1 minute Idle engine again for 3 minutes. Turn engine off for one minutes Start it back up and I was done.

A positive huge difference.
I had purchased a less expensive one and the car never ran right!! I then purchased the GM original throttle body and have picked up 4 miles to the gallon and runs like new!! this is one area you want to use original GM parts!!

Plan for a long relearn procedure process!
Very easy job. Dealer quoted us over $700 for this job on our 08 suburban that was having catastrophic failure of the throttle body. Reduced power, and eventually the throttle was completely unresponsive. It would idle and never rev. Literally under 10 minutes and we had it installed and all plastics put back together. We put a new AC Delco gasket in also which was a totally unneeded waste. Old gasket was fine after 175k miles. Here’s the tough part... I’ve done this job twice on late model Chevys. The idle relearn procedure is a real pain without a scan tool. Never as easy as YouTube says... It has taken several days of driving and idling to get the idle to drop back down on both vehicles. Make sure you remove your negative battery cable and hold it on your positive terminal for a couple minutes throughout the relearn procedure. It still doesn’t fix it right away but it helps a lot! Eventually the idle will drop back down but it is just simply a pain. Also, don’t do what I did and wait for the first snow of the year to do the job. Driving “in excess of 44mph with multiple acceleration and deceleration cycles” as you’re supposed to in several inches of snow, at night, with an idle stuck at 3,000 rpms, active ABS, and an empty gas tank, was not my best decision... The upshot... the actual repair is stupid simple, Amazon is far cheaper than dealer parts (duh), and expect the relearn to be a pain but doable for the average Joe. Also, if you have high miles, expect to break your PCV hose on this job and order a replacement before you try. Or use 3/8” radiator hose in a pinch like me. (1/2” would be better...)

Great factory part.
It's possible you will need the tools and know how to reprogram your vehicles computer or you will need to take it to your local dealer. You may experience idle issues until this is done. If not not you got lucky like me. Don't touch the butterfly while installing the throttle body. In my experience, I had slightly high idle 800rpm for about 2 weeks until the computer was able to adjust to the new throttle body. Runs like a champ know and idles between 500 to 600rpm. If you experience a higher rpm at idle I would recommend hooking up the computer and reprogramming it. Great factory part!
