Beautiful Piece!
I wanted a fitting storage box for my Rosary - especially after having it blessed by my parish Priest and it now becoming a Sacramental. Since the Ark of the Covenant was the forerunner of the Blessed Virgin being the NEW Ark...and since Blessed Mary gave us the Rosary as THE weapon to use against evil and to pray for sinners...what better container than the ARK! I was worried about ordering as some reviews said either their piece came without the lid or was damaged in some way or even poor craftmanship...but...since I have FREE RETURNS I decided to pull the trigger and ordered the MEDIUM sized version ($32.50) While I wish the box it came in had bubblewrap...it did not. However, the entire piece arrived undamaged and in PERFECT CONDITION! The Gold layer is BEAUTIFUL. The base has felt underneath. The lid comes off and has a nice hefty weight to it. Under the lid is black felt. Inside bottom of box is mirrored and is just big enough to hold a regular sized Rosary. If you are looking for something special to hold your religious objects in this is it...but I wouldnt go smaller than the medium size version.

Ark of the Covenant.
This is a great product. I had looked to find something that did the Ark of the Covenant justice in a price range I could afford. It is great craftmanship, easy to display and being made of metal, not wood it makes you think of the real thing. I wish the positioning of the angel wings were more like the drawings from Josephus, but it's still looks great.

Very nice metal. Made well but much smaller than expected. Measurements include the wooden base. Arc is a bit smaller.
