Resqme GBO-RQM-Orange The Rescue Tool Key Fob (Set of 1)

I bought two of these to clip onto the key-rings for both cars, as I couldn't find a safe place to site a life-hammer where I could guarantee that both the passenger and driver could reach it in an emergency. The Resqme Car Escape Tool is small and well-made, with a glass-punch and a blade for cutting seatbelts in the event of a crash. I haven't tried the punch on glass yet, but it puts a good dent in a piece of wood. The blade is sharp, and well recessed so that it would be very difficult to cut anything accidentally (which wouldn't stop it being confiscated if you tried to take it on an aircraft, annoyingly).

What a great piece of kit. I love this thing. I bought it for my mum to keep on her car keys, so that in the event of her driving into a lake or river (or any large body over water over 5ft deep) she can easily break the window, cut her seatbelt for the sake of it, and swim to safety. It's as robust as a rock, and has taken everyday bashings with ease. I have tested the window breaking feature (much to the noisy protest of my brother), and can confirm, it breaks a passenger window. Also hurts ALOT when you press the button down with your finger. But seriously, you would never accidentally fire this thing if that is a concern to anyone. It requires a fair amount of force - that any standard human has the ability to apply. Sits great on the keys and is just a nice piece of mind. Definitely getting one for myself if I ever find a car to go with it.

As a firefighter I thought this would be a good to keep in my fire kit. Used this one for the first time last week during an exercise and after using only a few times, the black housing around the metal spike has jammed and I have to manually retract it before using it again. A shame as the seatbelt cutter is fantastic.

Everyone should have one of these in there car,at first I was a bit confused due to no instructions however this was soon sorted out with watching a YouTube video. I bought yellow so it's easily visable in a emergency. It's easy to use,it does take a bit of force to pull the blade protector but when you do it is RAZOR sharp. I tried it out and it cut through cardboard like a hot knife through butter! I also tried the glass smashing function.....trust me it works! I tried it on a shot glass bottom (which obviously is a lot thicker than a car window) it punched a hole in it easily. But I also tried it on another glass this time on the side.....it completely shatterd to pieces! Would recommend.

Not had the courage to push it against anything to see if the pin pops out as advertised and I'm not going to blunt the blade by messing about to prove it cuts (I'm sure it does). This is something that should probably be on every car keyring just for peace of mind. I have rolled a car into a ditch when I was younger and was fortunate enough to get straight out, things don't always work out so well so this could be a lifesaver.

This item can quite literally save your life or the life of a loved one/member of the public. This tool sits quietly on your key ring providing you with reassurance that when you need it it will be there waiting for you. The tool detaches from its key ring holder with a slight pull. This removes the blade guard from the body of the tool and then you are free to use the seat-belt cutter or the window punch. My advice is that you keep this in the car or on your keys within arms reach of sitting bolt upright. I say this because seat-belts lock in position in a violent crash so you may be strapped to the seat and not able to lean forwards. The blade is exceptionally sharp but you are unable to cut yourself with it because of thr design. It slices through seat-belt webbing like a hot knife through butter, it will save your life. The window punch is used by pushing the black round end against a corner of the window and pushing. The black part is spring loaded and retracts as you push it. The powerful spring inside throws a sharp metal punch at the glass smashing it instantly. The punch reloads and can be used time and time again. I have used mine twice. Once to rescue an elderly person from a crashed car who was locked in and disoriented and the second time to get into a window that was laminated. This took 3 tries with the punch because of the internal tinting lamination. 3rd time was a charm and the window gave way. This again will save your life in the event you need to get in or out of a vehicle. I cannot underestimate their value. Have one in the car within reach of the driver for that unpredictable event that might just call for it to be used.

it's an emergency tool, the blade is angled just right, cuts clean and effortlessly, have not tested the hammer spring, sincerely hope that this tool will not have to be used. compact, small fits in your pocket. from research I know that at times of vehicle collision the seat belt locking device GETS JAMMED and makes it almost impossible to escape from the vehicle. This is the moment this little device becomes a life saver. Every Car should have one.

After a few tragic cases in recent years of families being trapped in sinking cars, I decided to make a plan. After loads of research, I settled on this tool as my preferred means of breaking the car window in order to escape. I couldn't convince myself that a hammer could be easily swung under water, impeded by a deployed airbag and possibly with injured arms. This gadget would cope with the first two impediments and seems more likely to work despite the third. Very well made and I expect it to last for decades.

Ce porte-clés de sécurité ResQMe est mieux qu'un simple marteau brise-glace car il a une double fonction (Il permet de coupé la sangle de ceinture et de cassé la vitre du véhicule) et il reste a porté de main sur les clés de voiture (Préférer une couleur fluo comme le jaune fluo afin de le rendre visible dans toute les situations) de plus la pression exercé avec le ressort du marteau est bien pensé et est plus fiable que la force de notre bras pour cassé la vitre. En imaginant que la voiture tombe dans l'eau ou que vous soyez dans une position inadéquate ou sonner lors d'un accident vous aurez surement moins de force pour cassé le carreau avec un simple marteau qu'avec le porte-clés ResQMe. Pour l'utiliser il suffit de le dé-clipsé des clés en tirant dessus et de coupé la ceinture avec le couteau prévu a cet effet puis de mettre le porte clé dans le coin de la vitre ou vous vous situez et d'exercer une légère pression afin de faire fonctionner le ressort qui cassera la vitre automatiquement. Vous pouvez l'utiliser sur toute les vitres de votre véhicule sauf le pare-brise qui est différent car il est composé de 3 couches (2 de verre et une intercalaire de poly(butyral vinylique) Le ResQMe créera juste un impact sur le pare-brise mais cassera toute les autres vitre. J'ai pu essayer ce porte clés dans une casse auto il coupe les sangles de ceinture de manière efficace et surtout sans effort et pour ce qui est du cassage de la vitre c'est pareil sans effort. Bref... Bluffant ! Je ne peux que recommander ce porte clés de sécurité ResQMe. Il devrait être obligatoire dans tout les véhicules car il pourrait sauvé une vie ou vous sauvez la vie. いざという時に使えると思います。ウィンドウを簡単に割る事は普段できませんので、性能のほどは分かりませんが携帯性といざという時取り出せるという性能は抜群です。

This little tool is really effective. I have a broken down car and I tested the seat belt cutter and the window breaking tip on it and it worked really well. I was surprised how well it broke car windows. The seat belt cutter was solid and worked great. I bought one in yellow, because a rescue tool should always be vibrant to spot instantly. But I am glad they come in an array of colours even black. I have it clipped onto my key chain, I don't think it is bulky and it doesn't get in the way of when I try to use my keys. For $12 ($10 if you are on Prime) this thing is well worth it. Hopefully I will never have to use this outside of a testing environment.

Ottimo piccolo dispositivo da portare sempre con se in auto. Lo tengo sempre attaccato ad una cerniera del mio zainetto che porto con me a lavoro ogni giorno. Provato su delle vecchie cinture da macchina è stato molto efficace, il frangivetro è un tocco di classe con il sistema a molla. Consigliato!

Estos son, un sistema de percusión para romper lunas de cristal (no laminadas) y una cuchilla con la que cortar cinturones y/o correajes de seguridad. Nadie garantiza el que, llegada esa situación límite para la que ha sido concebida esta herramienta, podamos hacer un uso efectivo de ella o que incluso lleguemos a necesitarla, pero es uno de esos elementos que nunca está demás tener a mano, y mucho menos por el precio que tiene. Fabricado casi por entero en plástico, razón esta que no le resta robustez, es de un manejo muy sencillo, tiene un tamaño similar a un encendedor y porta una práctica anilla para poder colgarlo de cualquier llavero. El rompecristales funciona mediante un sistema de doble acción. Presionando el ResQme contra la esquina de una luna, retrae primero en su interior y acaba liberando de golpe despues, un percutor metálico que es el que rompe el cristal. La cuchilla tipo guillotina está protegida por una pequeña pero resistente tapa para evitar accidentes innecesarios. Lo más sorprendente es que todo esto está contenido en un objeto que no ocupa más que la palma de la mano y su efectividad es muy buena. Se comercializa en cuatro colores, pero en mi opinión los mejores son aquellos que sean los más llamativos para una rápida localización.
