I’ve tried a lot of tattoo aftercare products over the years, but Hustle Butter Deluxe absolutely lives up to the hype. The texture is smooth without feeling greasy, and it kept my tattoo moisturized without clogging pores or leaving that heavy coated feeling some products have. The scent is light and actually pleasant, which is rare for skincare products in this category. What really stood out was how quickly my tattoo settled during healing. Most recently, my daughter got a tattoo and I saw her with this jar of hustle butter. Me being old-school. I’m like oh that’s unnecessary. You’re spending extra money. You don’t need that good old Aquaphor she said Mom it’s not good to use petroleum based products. It’s suffocates the ink into the tattoo and it doesn’t heal properly, etc. well boy did I get schooled because the very next day I went for permanent makeup and had my eyebrows done and this is exactly what the permanent makeup artist gave me as a topical ointment to use on top of my browse so I got to go back to my daughter and actually say you were right. This stuff is very soft and smells good. It’s expensive and it’s mainly just coconut oil but whatever I’ll pay the price and use it for the convenience.

This smells pretty good smells similar to shea butter . My tattoo healed so much better than my last one with this . With my last I didn’t know what I was doing it peeled to an extreme minimum it healed fast my tattoo is smooth and and little goes a long way so the size doesn’t matter because u only need a bit. I would definitely recommend putting this on all your tattoos instead of using auquaphor or just putting lotion . Lotion didn’t benefit my last tatto. My skin didn’t have a bad reaction or anything.

Kit is awesome. 2nd skin is absolutely amazing if you can use it, careful about sensitive skin. Cleaning foam works like a champ. Now the Balm/Butter. If you've use it before, still as good. Skin just drinks it, the container is super small. It would work for a travel size but remember melts real easy lol.

This is my daily tattoo balm. I've been using this for a couple of years now and I love it. The smell is great and not overpowering. It keeps my tattoos looking fresh. I use some of their other products as well. It's especially nice with a new tattoo as it keeps it from being too dry, helping with the inevitable flaking stage.

After reading reviews and recommendations I ordered some Hustle Butter for my upcoming tattoo appointment. A week before the tattoo I used this on the area day and night to make sure it was well moisturized. Originally I got it for the tattoo, and I found I reallllly like the smell of this and how it feels once it fully absorbs. It is pleasant gender neutral scent that is not over powering. I started using it on other areas that tend to be extra dry like my elbows and knees. The thickness is both a pro and a con. Like others mentioned it does take some time to fully absorb since it is so thick so you may have to wait a bit before getting dressed depending on the area. I started to use it around 5 days post-tattoo after I took off the Saniderm and let it air dry for a bit. I have been using it morning and night ever since and the tattoo has healed up nicely. After the first few days I started using a hair dryer to liquify the top layer of the Hustle Butter to make it easier to spread, but not hot enough to cause any skin irritation on the tattoo. I also found this helps it absorb a little faster and I can put on a shirt after a few minutes without worry. It goes on nicely and does not feel greasy at all. It is hard to explain, as in my head I just come up with the word it feels "nice" and almost has a creamy consistency. I do wish it were a little cheaper since it is so good I want to put it everywhere. But if only using it for a small section this container will last a while since a little can go a long way. I also found it makes the tattoo "pop" a little and boost the colors and blacks. I bought the smaller container too just to carry around in a bag if I want something quick to use and to help stop itchiness of the tattoo during the second week when I was out of the house.

So far, so good. No complain. The texture is nice to touch and apply. Smooth application and nice buttery smell.

A good product if you want your tattoos to look moisturized and have that shiny fresh look.

It does feel a little greasy at first, but nothing that’s unbearable — it absorbs pretty well after a few minutes. The scent is light and pleasant, and I love that it’s made with natural ingredients. Overall, an amazing product that keeps my tattoos healthy and vibrant. Definitely worth it!
