Hello Sacred Creatures

I like reading this book to my baby as a bed time story. The illustrations are beautiful! My baby's favorite illustration is the one of the penguin with a rainbow in the background. This would be a good baby shower gift because my baby loved this book from a really early age. She's 6 months old now and has loved it for months. I like that it introduces the concept of animals being sacred (we are Pagan so that is part of our belief system). The only way this could be improved is if it included even more animals from the land where we live (North America) since charismatic African megafauna like giraffes seem overrepresented in books and items for babies.

I love this little book! I use it for my kids yoga class reading time, and the little ones loves it too. I also bring my imagination to work with the book such: why the honey bee is secreted! where the elephants live....Is a really good book for a kids dharma talking with my little yogis

Love the illustrations and colors!
