One morning, six young ninjas are dropped off at Dojo Daycare. As soon as their ninja moms and ninja dads have left: KABOOM! KAPOW! The ninja boys and girls push and pull, bust and break, and generally turn the place upside down in a full-blown ninja riot. Try as he might, the hapless master can’t control the kids, and the disaster plays out through lunchtime and storytime. No one heeds the master’s repeated mantra of honor, kindness and respect – until one little ninja steps up and rallies his ninja pals to undo all the damage that they have done, just in time for pickup. Digitally rendered ninjas pop off the page in this rowdy tale. Told in rhyming verse with a lively rhythm, comic expressions, and big sound effects, Dojo Daycare makes for an unbeatably boisterous read-aloud. Review: The children love the premises of the story - I'm a preschool teacher and we have read this book every week now for a month and a half. The children love the premises of the story. Misbehaving little ninja kids at daycare! Gotta love that! It has that repetitive nature that my 3 and 4 year olds love! The illustrations are rich without being over powering. And the "Ka-Boom, Ka-Pow!" has become our classrooms weekly chant! There is a moral lesson to this story about classroom responsibility, but it is not over cutesy or pushy. So the children absorb it without much promoting. A great early childhood tool. But we also read it at home often, so it does not need to be used in a classroom setting. My kids choose it often for their bedtime story. You won't regret it. And the best Part!? It doesn't tear your adult brain apart re-reading it a hundred times! Always a plus in a children's book! Review: Deep Belly Laughs - My 5 year old son and I had some deep belly laughs with the hilarious illustrations in this book. Look for the little girl with a green cloud coming from her. It is subtle but funny. Also watch the ninja teddy bear. He looks beat up, like the teacher at the end.

A MUST HAVE for any home with kids who attend daycare!
My family first found this book at our local library and it became a fast favorite. I read it to my kids in advance of them starting daycare and now we finally have our own copy! My kids are thrilled to be little ninjas getting ready for daycare daily

Love It!!
We all love this book in my house, sometimes we read it three times in a night! My daughter picked it out at the library and we read it so much that we ordered our own copy as well as Dojo Daytrip and Dojo Surprise. I have also given this as a gift and and it was well received!
