Alps is one of the best large producers of dried Italian sausage. There are a few varieties, each one is delicious. I’m a spicy person, so I prefer the hot Soprassata. I place the sausage in the refrigerator and use it as needed. Make sure to peel off the outside casing and slice very thin.

VERT GOOD, BOUGHT AGAIN

I have been getting the sweet one in the past, but this time I got the hot one. It isn't very hot for those who are concerned. It tastes much more flavorful due to the hot spices added although they are not very hot - just tasteful. It came well packages in a styrophome container and in a shrink plastic wrap. As for aging, Alps in noted for great aged sausage. This one is great. I highly recommend it for dried Italian sausage aficionados.

Do not buy. Inedible had to spit out almost half the dry salami suprasatta. Guarantee didn’t hold up the charge for replacement which was worse than original. Worse quality ever. The charged double. Avoid them avoid trouble. Better quality products at your local Italian Deli. This shouldn’t be allowed on Amazon. Makes Amazon look bad.
