I chose Cobalt and it’s more of a really elegant lilac-blue, or “blurple” as my kids called it. Way less intense and much prettier than the pictures here. This is absolutely premium, from packaging presentation to the feel of the painted finish to the popcorn kits: each pack has 3 smart little sections for coconut oil (that melted so quickly), kernels, then a sugar/salt blend for Kettle and a buttery salt blend for the yellow Classic. We’ve had a Whirly Pop for 10+ years that we thought we loved, but are donating it immediately tomorrow! It’s beat up, the mechanism is hard to clean, and the stirring with This new one is worlds better. The Popsmith pot must be a multi ply design like with top cookware, which took a while to heat up evenly then once the popping started, it was done so quickly. The instructions say you don’t have to stir nonstop like with Whirly although the handle stirs so smoothly that my kids really wanted to anyway. This far exceeded expectations and now I’m thinking it will make an amazing gift for some special families in our life!

I was skeptical but we do movie night every Friday and I was tired of doing microwave junk or messing with our whirley popper hoping not to make a mess or burn my hand. The popsmith is such good quality it’s gonna last forever. Their popcorn kits make it super easy to make Legit movie theatre quality and tasting popcorn it’s a no brainer. Would make a great housewarming gift or just cuz gift and if you don’t have one, get it!! Super easily to clean, love the insert clicks in so when you pour out the popcorn it comes out eithiut the spinner and the lid isn’t that flappy thing from the whirley pop. Very well designed

The price is way to high for what you get. I would not waste the money on this. The popcorn came out ok - but it wasn’t anything special.

Very heavy and not very easy to turn. Not much difference between this and the competition, it works but I wouldn’t recommend it or buy it again.
