IMCO IM6761390 Flint Oil Lighter, Super 6700P, Stainless Steel, Classic, Silver

I use matches to smoke outside at home but it was becoming untenable on windy or rainy days. Disposable lighters are often hard to ignite and empty pretty fast as a result, while zippos are kind of a nightmare to maintain, are heavy, and loud to boot, so I was looking for an alternative. While there's some buy-in with the flint, fluid, and wicks, it's still cheaper in total than anything else over the long term if you're not the type who buys dollar store lighters to begin with. The size is smaller and cuter than a normal lighter, it has a loop on the side for lanyards, won't loudly alert the entire neighborhood at night whenever you light your cigarette, and it's easy to fill and clean. Once you figure out how much fluid is the right amount, you'll find you don't have to refill it that often actually even with a lot of daily use. There is a bit of a learning curve for actuating it, you'll be using a different part of your thumb than you're probably used to, but I found it's much better this way, especially if you have long nails or smoke while your nails are still wet with polish. The pattern on the lighter doesn't show fingerprints either which is nice. Of course what people say about the elements becoming hot is true if the flame operates for more than a few seconds but I haven't had any accidents due to it yet and I barely think about it. It was a really good purchase and I'll probably buy a few more to keep around since they're so affordable. My advice though is to buy extra flints when you buy the lighter so you can put a second flint into it immediately which will make ignition consistent.

フリント着火のオイルライターとしてはジッポーが有名ですが、ジッポーは他の物への着火には火種から持ち手の距離が近いので少し怖い。 低温下での着火性能 耐風性能も良いので、最後の着火手段としては心強いフリント着火のオイルライター。その他の物への着火時の問題を緩和したのが、此のイムコトレリプレックスライター。 私個人としては 喫煙しないので、ジッポーは知ってましたが、イムコ知りませんでした。 早速購入。先ず良かった事。 ジッポーは 蓋オープン後フリントホイール操作して着火のツーアクションに対し、イムコは蓋オープンとフリントホイール操作が同時に行われてワンアクションで着火！ 点火後はオイルタンク単体に出来て、狭い所にも 持ち手の距離も有って他の物に着火出来る！(コイツは凄い特徴！) ジッポーに比べて若干小さく 重さはかなり軽い。 構造上ジッポーより燃料の揮発が少なそう。(コレは実際使用し続けないと分からない。) フリントの予備の入れる所が有り、またジッポーよりフリントの状況の確認 交換が楽。 以上が感想です。 スーパーとジュニアが有り迷いましたが、値段が余り変わらないのでスーパーのいました。 ジュニアとの違いは、1 空気取り入れ口に風防が有る 2 ストラップ等を取り付ける所が有る 3 チャッカー下部の隙間を隠すカバーが有る (写真の⭕️の所)の有無らしいです。 ステンレス製は金属の特性上蓄熱性や熱伝導率の低さの為、火口が熱くなり易い見たいです。 カッコ良いので、真鍮 真鍮ブラックニッケル も購入しましたw

◯商品と使用感 古めかしい機構を備えたクセのあるオイルライター。短時間使う時は点火してそのまま、火をつけたままで長い時間かけるなら点火して引き抜いて使用、引き抜いたらそのままローソクのようにも使えるが転倒に注意。基本的には野外で使うタイプです。 オイルの持ちもそれほどでもなく、ジッポと比べれば消火もひと手間あると手のかかるライターですが使い込むほどに愛着が湧きます。

マッチの様に使える点、見た目のレトロ感は気に入りましたが使用頻度の少ない自分の使い方だと、使おうとした時にはオイル切れになってました。使用前に毎回オイルを補充して持っていく形になりそうです。

zippoは沢山持っているけどimcoは 初めてですが、とても気に入りました。使い勝手が良いです。

ターボ型のガスライターを登山のお供にしてきましたが、ある日ガスタンクが膨張していることに気付いてから氷点下が何日も続いたり高所に携行することがためらわれるようになりました。 そこで軽量で構造のシンプルなオイルライターを試してみたくなり購入。かねてから見覚えのあるこの形が気に入っています。 氷点下でどこまで大丈夫なのかはこれからです。オイルは汎用の安いものを使っていますが、さてどうなのか、またお知らせします。

Estaba buscando un encendedor clásico y me había decidido por un zippo, pero las reseñas de estos decían que el combustible se evaporaba rápidamente y en comentarios recomendaban mejor los imco, específicamente los de la serie 6700. Decidí dejarme guiar por los comentarios y estoy empezando a usarlo, es un poco complicado encenderlo porque soy primerizo (una vez lo accione mas de 4 veces para encenderlo). El empaque es sencillo como se muestra en la imagen y el vendedor amablemente agrega instrucciones en inglés con imágenes de cómo cambiar el pedernal ya que es importado de Japón, el instructivo viene en japonés. Actualizacion 02/12/23: He notado que la taza de encendido se reduce conforme tiene menos combustible; la mecha es 100% algodon pero no he encontrado donde vendan repuestos "originales" de imco en mi ciudad por lo que para la mecha usare una cuerda simple de algodon y los pedernales he comprado genericos dorados que son mas duros y peores que los plateados de imco, pero es lo que hay y funciona. La duracion del combustible fue de 15 dias con un encendido muuuy constante ya que para mi era novedad. Actualizacion 25/Feb/2024 Conseguí pedernal de la marca IMCO y mejora muchisimo, ENCIENDE A LA PRIMERA. Tiene un compartimiento donde guardar un pedernal extra y al sacar un poco más la mecha se consigue una llama más grande al bajar el cubre-vientos. El combustible me duro más de 3 semanas. TLDR; Me enamore de este encendedor.
