YVE Life Interactive Cat Toys Laser for Indoor Cats,Automatic Kitten Toys

This thing works great to entertain cats! Sure, it's fun to hold a laser yourself and play with them, but my cats can follow a laser far longer than I care to shine one around. This will go 20 minutes or so at a go. It also keeps them entertained when I'm not around. Bought it almost two years ago and it's still going strong. My only wish is that it had a bigger battery. It will run for a couple days on a charge, but longer would be even better.

I love this laser toy so much! I bought this so my cats can be entertained when I’m not home. And it works like a charm. Off the charger it last about three days. But it still works even when charging so if I go on vacation I know I can leave it plugged in and my cats will be entertained between sitter visits. This is most ideal because my kitten will harass my older cat when she’s bored so this helps distract her while allowing my senior cat a break. She likes it too, so I bought another one so they can play together. So worth the price. This will be my go to gift for my friends who have cats too. Details: unless you change this to the manual setting, it will go dormant on its own for a few hours (maybe 2 - I don’t time it) and then comes back on by itself. This can be alarming at first but it’s an auto toy so it’s supposed to do that. I sometimes turn it back on when I want to and so far that doesn’t seem to mess up the auto feature, so hooray to that. This toy is magical. I’m so happy I purchased it, twice. I know cats respond differently so I will add this suggestion if you are undecided. I already knew my senior cat (black and white short hair) liked laser pointers and my new kitten (calico tabby) is fond of chasing and fetching so I figured she’d be into laser pointers too. I am happy she does. If you know your cats like laser pointers, this toy should be a winner for you. If you aren’t sure, get a cheap regular laser toy from the grocery store and do a trial. If they like that, then go ahead and take a chance on this one too.

This would be a five star but it has betrayed me a few times with short battery life! First off, this is great. My cat loves this toy! I usually prefer interactive toys like wands or mice but our boy is super picky and out of all the toys we’ve gotten him, he will only play with two. He doesn’t respond to catnip, silvervine, all the things, so trying to entice him does not work. When he loses (purposely hides) his favorite two toys, it becomes a chaotic home (queue nonstop meowing). I bought this toy out of desperation when we spent days looking for his two toys that he hid way too well and I needed something to distract him until they could be found again. This did the trick. Maybe too well. It has three settings: normal (it’s slower but not stagnant), insane (like a toddler with a laser pointer), and the last setting randomizes between the first two. It plays for 15 minutes and then auto shuts off. It will cut back on after two hours if any motion is detected (queue trying to get water at 2am and being startled by random laser I forgot existed). My suggestion is to keep it plugged in at all times if possible. I will eventually get a cord long enough to do this in the area where our cat loves to play. Otherwise make sure to remember to shut it off manually so you don’t get betrayed at 5am when the cat is yowling for his laser toy so you get up to turn it on and go back to bed just to see it has a dead battery. Rip sleep. Also, we were able to find his two toys again a week later. He still loves this laser after getting them back. It has become part of his daily toy regimen which is a big compliment from our picky guy.

My kitties love this toy! They all go absolutely nuts for the little red dot when it appears. Love that it does random patterns and turns on and off in a schedule, that keeps the kitties interested. Well made and very sturdy. I keep it up high so the kitties can't reach it.

My cats love this and so does my dog (Lab mix). It's also fun for me to watch them chase the dot. Great purchase! The ease of charging it, moving it to different places and setting at different angles are great features!

The package was packed well and the product feels good. I personally think the laser moves to fast for the cat to really get into his “hunting mode” the laser does not go up or down just left and right and close and far. there's only button with three settings which is easy to navigate around. The rechargeable port was good quality and the chord was good. You can't use it while it charges and it takes about a couple hours of charge. I'd still suggest this to cat lovers. Just use it in intervals so the cat doesn't get bored or used to the laser. Oh, it also says it makes a low noise but I didn't hear anything… not sure what's that about.

had to leave cat alone for weekend , this toy was perfect to keep him occupied. turns on every 2 hours if sense motion and he would chase whole time it was active

My cat really enjoys this laser toy. I like that it keeps her moving and gives her something to focus on when she wants to play. The automatic movement makes it more convenient than having to hold a laser myself. Definitely a fun addition for cat owners.

Mon chat était accro au laser. Elle me poussait avec sa petite patte toujours le petit bâton laser pour que je puisse peser sur le bouton du laser. Comme c'était no stop je me suis dit qu'un robot serait peut-être mieux ? Hé Oui, il fonctionne toute la journée en plus, elle n'a jamais fait autant d'exercice depuis. Bémol la batterie ne dure pas longtemps si elle l'utilise très souvent mais j'ai mis le robot près d'une prise et il est constamment branché pour être tjs à sa full charge !

This is the best automatic laser cat toy I've ever had. I've been through a fair few of them to come to your verdict. KEY NOTES for those with issues: 1. Motion detection issues: the motion detection only works once you have turned it on & left it alone. That lets it go into standby. 2. If the laser toy is too fast, press the button to the yellow mode as that's the slow mode. It has it on the picture & instructions. 3. Not all cats love lasers. One of my cats love it, the other just ignores it completely. Toys always depend on the cat's personality. Pros: - No noise when the head moves with the laser (this has been an issue on most laser toys!). - It has motion detection! It's definitely within 4 metres as the toy goes off when I am further away walking down the hallway. - 3 different modes. Yellow for slow, purple for random and red for cat zoomies 😂 this is also rare to find in laser toys, so thank you for actually having it be random and have different modes. My cat absolutely loves the reds & purple modes and pounces at the light when it's closer to her. - easy to charge - pretty durable. I've accidentally knocked it off our coffee table twice already 😔 and it's still going really well! Cons: - battery life doesn't last longer than a day. But this is because if it's in a frequently walked by area then it will be going off all the time and the battery will die. - nothing else! Recommended upgrades/fixes: - Longer standby time/different standby modes:- Maybe a second button where you could cycle through standby mode options? You could set it for 4 or 6 hours if your cat isn't as active and it stops it going off all the time when you only have a small area for it to be in. - different standby modes would increase the battery life as well. - include in the video on how to adjust the laser inside - a 4 or 5 interaction modes:- I would love to see one that's like a stalk & catch mode. One where it's slowly moving around but then stops & pauses... 5 to 10 seconds. Enough for the cat to pounce at it. I would like to see this in a second version of the random mode as well. Maybe stalk & catch slow & random modes.
