Amazing Value, exceptional in its class
Hello, I'm a 45 year vet of the music, entertainment and production industry. I own, too many guitars to remember at time, as with gear, and all the goodies.I was looking for something inexpensive, but VERY real...something that worked, something that plays, keeps tune, and has a couple features you would be silly not to seek (acoustic/electric AND tuner) in today's gear. Not expecting to find such (I search guitars and gear endlessly it seems), when i plugged in my search parameters this guitar popped up and I felt my temp rise. I thought NO, no way. Now I own 2.SO here's the skinny - I needed something simple, cheap and easy to take to campgrounds, as strolling thing to plug into a tiny belt clip amp. I have acoustic/electrics but honestly, with campfire sparks, hmmmm, not so much. I also have hundreds of electrics, in top end and kids, plus 3/4 and special shapes, etc., etc. But the thing is, I ALWAYS, always build in back-ups - ways to continue if something in one area fails, and having a small clip amp go out (yes i would have a second) does not presume a guitar won't break, so having acoustic ability made sense for both audible, venue, and backup ideas. This guitar, is like...wow, and then some. Don't get me wrong...the finish is vulnerable, the wood is very thin, and the electronics, tuner, and mechanics.... are right on the line. But it works, keeps tune, the action can be adjusted, the harmonics are ok, it plays well, looks good and sound good acoustically, and electronically. You have to be careful with it, and on both units I bought, the 1/4" guitar jack was lose, one already losing the nut and falling inside, requiring removing the strings and putting back together. But, if you're looking for a REAL guitar, for something like throw away use, or a youngster - wow. I think the only thing I would caution is its durability and strength - kids are hard on stuff (I know I do thousands of kids on stage each year). All that said, I kinda fell in love with them, and find myself more defensive for their protection thinking, hmmm, do I really want to use them for why I bought them. But honestly, in it’s class, this is a CRAZY good item and an exceptional buy!

Great little guitar
I am a drummer but actually started out playing a ¾ size classic guitar with nylon strings back in 1973 and played for a couple of years. I then started on drums and never looked back. Drumming is still my favorite acoustic instrument today but I wanted to go back to playing the acoustic guitar for my personal entertainment and friends. I found the full length guitar to be a lot more challenging and difficult for me to hold the guitar and chord properly and efficiently. I was unintentionally muting strings a lot. I then purchased this ¾ Vangoa guitar which helped me considerably, correcting all of my playing issues and the cutaway is a real plus because I’m able to rest the guitar on my leg with ease with no more sliding around like the regular dreadnought acoustic body style does. Very little finger pressure is needed on the strings when chording so you can play a lot longer on it.I was surprised of the quality and feel of this guitar. The frets are perfectly mounted and don’t stick out over the sides of the neck, the action out of the box was spot on at .011 inches (the thickness of a business card) at the nut end with a capo on the 5th fret. The guitar just needed to be tuned as to be expected. This Vangoa guitar sounds great and no fret buzz. At first I was getting fret buzz on the low “E” and “A” strings but that was my mistake because I was pushing down way too hard on the strings when very little finger pressure was required so this would actually make a great guitar for young beginners as well as for adults. The jack for the amp is a little loose and the body could use one or two more coats of the lacquer coating in my opinion especially the back and sides but for the price it’s okay because the playability of this guitar is perfect. The tuners insides are metal except the tuner housing and keys are plastic so tune slowly. You could always change and upgrade the tuners if needed. The body wood feels thin and the depth of this Vangoa is a little more than 5/8" thinner than a full size guitar which makes it easier to play.Hopefully it stays tuned and the action stays the same, I will do an update if anything changes.I never seen a picture of a full size guitar next to a ¾ size guitar in any of the other reviews so I thought this one would help for size comparison.Update: 4/3/2019 Guitar constantly goes out of tune and now I can feel the frets sticking past the neck for some strange reason. Still enjoy playing it though.

great beginner guitar.
I'm learning to play again to gain more mobility in my fingers. It's a nice beginner guitar. I replaced the strings with extra light strings to make it easier to chord and the sound is ok. For the money it's a great value. You can add an amp if you want, it comes with a pickup and has a built in tuner plus a tuner for the headstock. It came with picks, strap and a nice gitbag. Overall I'm very pleased with it.

Wonderful guitar with everything I need!
This is my first guitar. It arrived in time. The guitar is gorgeous. It's the perfect size for me. It's got a good heft to it and the matte finish on the back, sides, and face feels good. It comes with all the accessories as advertised. The bag is very good quality. It has straps on the back (for your back) and a strap on the side for carrying it by hand. The guitar fits perfectly, and I don't have to fight to get it in or out. The strap is better than any other straps that I have for my other string instruments. It's wide and is extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The cloth is soft and gently cleans the guitar. The tuner is well-made and very easy to use.I was initially worried after reading a few of the latest reviews that the sharp flat edges. And obviously, I have no need to worried about it on this guitar, the fret edges are smooth. The guitar neck is easy to hold comfortably and the action can be adjusted. It'll need tuning first, but even then, the quality is outstanding.Highly recommend this guitar.
