Great quality and perfect accessories
I was hesitant to pay $175 to get this, but after reviewing other similar devices I kept landing on this one. I do already own their portable battery jumper, it is very nice quality, made to take a beating and its intelligent. I owned the jumper for about a month to make sure it was good quality. The packaging is very nice, well made and instructions are well made. I am able to charge 4 batteries at once without using up 4 sockets with other better known battery tenders. Note, battery tenders, don't always provide a full charge, they just keep enough current to the battery to keep the cells from dying. This provides a full charge. The case is very well made, water proof and self senses the battery type when you make contact with the battery. You get 2 battery screw connectors for more permanent or long term terminal connections and you get two spring loaded alligator terminals for larger auto/rv battery types. You also get 4 extension cables, so they don't hook you to buy all the accessories. If you didn't want to pull the batteries out like I did from my motors, you can buy additional extension cords for a very reasonable price, you can also daisy chain the extension cords to meet you distance requirement. Overall I am impressed with it, everything seems good quality. This isn't something you open and immediately know its a knock off version from China, its the real deal..

Great product if you store batteries
I mounted this product on the post of a shelf that holds spare batteries. Over time our spares would discharge. Keeping them on a charger was a total mess with wires in a rat's nest. Now we can just walk by and see that the lights are all the way to green. Even new batteries take an initial charge, which is to be expected since there is no telling when they were actually filled with acid. Another incredible use is keeping 12 volt gel cells charged. The charger comes with two 10' extension cords. (All cords have polar connectors for the charger end so you can't plug them in wrong.) I took one of the extension cords and split the wires apart every foot for six inches. Then folded the wires back and put a nylon tie around the wires where the split ended at both points. This gave me nine loops of split wires. I could have split the entire 10' length but that would have made the end result messier and more likely to tangle. At the mid point of each loop I clipped a 3M T Tap connector over both the red and the black wires. T Tap connectors just snap over a wire, insulator and all, and then allow a blade connector to be plugged in. The exact same blade connectors that the T Tap connectors are designed to accept are on 12 volt gel cell batteries. So with our modified charger extension cord we can now maintain the charge on nine gel cell batteries at the same time. This is the link for the T Tap connectors : http://www.amazon.com/3M-Scotchlok-Self-Stripping-QuickSlide-Disconnect/dp/B003KOIBLI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1351600013&sr=8-1&keywords=3m+952 The only complaint is that this charger is intended for four batteries at the same time. However there are only two charging cables with electrical clamps. The other two have holes at the end which I guess is for batteries with threaded connectors and wing nuts. If you have more than two batteries with plain posts then you are forced to find another way to keep them connected. If you want to have four clamp connectors instead of the two it comes with then you have to buy two of these: http://www.amazon.com/NOCO-GC001-Genius-Battery-Connector/dp/B004LWV0DY/ref=sr_1_21?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1351600268&sr=1-21&keywords=noco+genius

It's solid.
I guess you'd say I'm a fan of NOCO chargers. A few years ago I bought a G1100 to keep my '67 Fleetwood charged, then another to keep my '62 Falcon charged, then a G750 to keep my lawnmower charged. I had such great results with these chargers over the last couple years I invested in this gigantic beast, partly for the extra features and partly so I could move the G1100s and use them for other purposes. I've had the G4 for a little while now and it does everything expected. Knowing what I know now, I should have just bought the G4 years ago instead of starting with the G1100s, but you know, it's hard to stomach a $200 battery charger. I think Noco makes good stuff, and I've got a few years of positive results to back that up. If you've like me and have a lot of batteries to keep charged, I'd just bite the bullet and get the G4. It's solid.

Couldn't be happier
We have a rustic escape place,, which we have to winterize every winter. I have 7 batteries for different equipment which are removed and brought home every year we close the place up. Over the last two years this charger has made the health and management of all our batteries MUCH better. Being able to charge 4 at once is a wonderful time saver and I've already noticed that how it charges seems to make all our batteries seem healthier, and last longer. Before we purchase this charger a couple of our older batteries needed a refresher charge before the end of the season, and now they work throughout the entire season.

nice chager but..........
I'll start this review by saying this charger is a great idea as I have a six volt vehicle as well as multiple twelve volt vehicles to charge. I have had issues with banks going out on the chargers, I have several batteries to charge all the time so I bought four chargers. Good thing I bought more than I needed one charger actually arrived not working at all. However these chargers seem susceptible to voltage fluctuation in power source. Like any other charger a depleted battery will not charge you have to trick into charging by jumpers from a good battery! I found them cheaper by looking around and not buying from the first vendor that popped up. I now use surge protectors on all the chargers, so far so good. The ability to charge whatever type battery is a must option for me because you never have the same type of battery as much as you would like to have all the same type in your vehicle or bike. All in all I like it but I had to buy extra cables with clips they only send one with a clip and one with eye rings when they should send four duh four bank charger! They should offer longer cords they are only ten feet each? Anyhow I hope this helps.

Perfect charger/tender for someone with too many batteries!
Perfect charger/tender for someone with too many batteries! Very versatile, will charge any battery you have that powers your many 'toys'. I like this option for setting up a 'battery charging station' this uses one electrical outlet vs 4 needed in my case. This will cost more than 4 individual chargers but I find this to be a much better option and more versatile vs most single chargers. Something I didn't realize and/or didn't think about but really like... this unit has a 'memory' and remembers the last setting on each charging position. Once set you can unplug you batteries and plug them back in the the same position and the charger will continue charging at the last setting you set, it remembers all 4 positions independently. Easy 5 star review for me!

The built-in desulfator was the feature that sold me!
I have been deliberating getting a proper battery tender for my classic and antique cars that I have. After wanting to take one for a drive (my 1989 Merkur Scorpio Ghia 2.9L) and the battery was dead again- I made up my mind to invest in a very good battery charger/ maintainer. A few years ago I received a few small, cheap, knock-off single battery "tenders". Needless to say, they didn't work and probably led to the destruction of a battery in one of my cars. I did some research to find out what was available and what were other car enthusiasts using? There seem to really be only two players in the market. The Noco was the only one that provided LED's to show the exact charge level. I LOVE this feature! The Noco was also the only one that provides spark-proof protection, but the built-in desulfator was the feature that helped to sell me. I purchased the 4-bank G$ which came with a great selection of cables. I was able to park fours cars side-by-side and place this in between them. The two extra long extending cables I purchased did the trick to help bridge the gap. The charger helped to revive two of the weaker batteries as expected. I love the LED display that lets me know the condition of each battery every time I visit my cars while in storage. I am really excited now knowing my cars will start when needed and the batteries are well cared for.

great for multiple bikes and/or multiple types of batteries
with a number of bikes with different types of batteries, this has been a great unit allowing me to reduce the clutter and make battery maintenance a breeze. the unit easily mounts to the wall (if desired) and the connectors and cables are easily installed and used like typical battery maintainers. as far as the functionality goes it is 5 stars, but do wish the price was a little lower or the kit could be customized since i rarely need alligator clips and had to buy extra extensions which would have been preferred over those. Personal gripes aside, definitely happy with the product

NOCO has a great lineup of products!
We bought this for a trailer business to keep the batteries topped up. Been working very well for us. We also have 4 of the single NOCO charging units. Great for keeping ATV or snowmobile batteries topped up while not in use.

A Real Battery Saver
We have a number of 12V car or bike batteries that are not used over the winter. U used to have to replaece one or two of them every year because they would just sit over the winter and die. This past winter, we kept all of our batteries on this trickle charger, and they worked great come springtime. This charger is easy to use with display to show you how much charge is in your batteries. Definitely worth the price in battery savings alone. Quite happy with this purchase.

Trickle charges 4 batteries at once.
I took the bait on this one and spent quit a bit of money for the brand Noma. Less than a week it arrived. I noticed it was packaged well, and had some weight on it telling me there was a decent build quality. I plug it in, and nothing. I got a defective one in the mail. I filed a claim, and sent this one back with the return shipping label provided. 3 or 4 days later a new one came in the mail. I plugged it in, and low and behold, it worked! I hooked up to 4 separate batteries that were to remain dormant over the winter. This Noma trickle charger did its job in keeping the batteries charged all winter. In the spring I hooked all batteries up to there respective ATV, boat, and motorcycle all 4 batteries performed like they should. I was happy with my purchase and glad I went with the slightly more expensive Noma brand.
