This is Gold. I mix it with the other brand to save money but stand alone it is top notch.
I use this in tandem with Gold Standard (1 scoop of each). Figured for the price why not? It is great quality, tastes good, mixes well, priced right. Figure with my lactose intolerance going with an animal protein powder will reduce bloating or stomach issues and this has definitely been well utilized in my nutritional routine for the last 6 months. No issues whatsoever. I will continue to buy this brand/flavor probably indefinitely.

High quality protein powder!!!
My favorite product in this world! I purchased like TEN bags .. if not more of this product. I can honestly say that this is the most consistent product in my diet for the past 10 years. Great protein content, and has a great value for the money. The flavor ( chocolate) is my favorite. Great texture and taste ( I use plant based milk and blended in a bullet). Has a bit of clumsiness if mixed with water in a shaker ( If let to sit a bit after clumsiness will dissolve). The most I love about this product is the fact that I have ZERO gas pain ( abdominal pain) after this! I purchased MASS carnivore for a higher calorie intake and Carnivore LEAN Mass for lesser calorie! I will purchase this forever!!

Perfection
Best stuff I've ever tried. In my opinion coming from Optimum Nutrition and Naked, this blew me away. My body might just prefer this over anything else idk. Incredibly easy to digest, immediate noticeable difference in strength, quality is amazing. Very very good taste (I got the chocolate one). Its really easy to mix and does not clump at all! Protein content is great.... I dont know what else to say this is just awesome. Its not too sweet as well. Its perfect.

Whey what !
It doesn't taste great, but the results are awesome. This stuff hasn't upset my stomach. It mixes super easily. My wife and I both use it. It keeps you energized, and with a little milk and yogurt, the taste is way better. But for the results I've gotten from taking it for 6 months, it could taste terrible and I'd still take it, lol.

Digests easily
I have been using carnivor protein for a few months now, and it has become one of my favorites. What I like the most is that it's beef protein, so It digests easily and doesn't cause the bloating I have experie ced with some whey products. The flavors are surprisingly good, specially chocolate and it mixes smoothly without climps. I have notices faster recovery after workouts and more consistent muscle growth. Its also low fat and sugar, which makes it clean option for my diet. I definitely recommend carnivoe to anyone serious about strength training or fitness goals.

This stuff is terrible for you.
Here’s a breakdown of the ingredients in your protein powder and the potential concerns associated with some of them: 1. Hydrolyzed Beef Protein Isolate • Purpose: Primary protein source. • Concern: Generally safe, but some people may be sensitive to hydrolyzed proteins due to rapid digestion, which can lead to gastrointestinal issues. 2. GKG, OKG, AKG, and KIC (Various Keto Acids and Amino Acid Derivatives) • Purpose: Often included for muscle recovery and performance. • Concern: No major safety concerns, but these compounds may not be necessary for everyone and could increase the cost of the supplement without significant added benefit. 3. BCAAs (Branched-Chain Amino Acids) • Purpose: Support muscle repair and recovery. • Concern: Safe for most people, but high doses of BCAAs can cause digestive discomfort for some. 4. Maltodextrin • Purpose: Used as a filler or to improve texture. • Concern: It has a high glycemic index, which can cause blood sugar spikes. Frequent intake of high-GI ingredients can lead to insulin resistance over time. 5. Natural and Artificial Flavors • Purpose: Enhance flavor. • Concern: “Natural flavors” are generally safe, though the exact components aren’t disclosed. “Artificial flavors” may contain synthetic chemicals, which can be a concern for people sensitive to additives. 6. Salt • Purpose: Adds flavor and balances taste. • Concern: Safe in moderate amounts, but excessive intake can contribute to high blood pressure. 7. Silica • Purpose: Anti-caking agent. • Concern: Generally recognized as safe, but some people prefer to avoid additives. 8. Sucralose • Purpose: Artificial sweetener. • Concern: Some studies suggest it may alter gut bacteria and insulin response, and some people experience digestive issues with sucralose. 9. Acesulfame Potassium (Acesulfame K) • Purpose: Artificial sweetener. • Concern: Linked to potential metabolic disruptions and is often avoided by people sensitive to artificial sweeteners. 10. Titanium Dioxide • Purpose: Whitener and colorant. • Concern: Has been controversial; some studies suggest it may cause inflammation or oxidative stress. Banned in some countries (like the EU) as a food additive. 11. Anti-Foam Agents (Propylene Glycol Mono- and Diesters) • Purpose: Reduces foam during mixing. • Concern: Generally considered safe, but these compounds are derived from petrochemicals, which some people prefer to avoid. 12. RDB (Refined, Bleached, Deodorized) Soybean Oil • Purpose: Adds texture and may act as a carrier for other ingredients. • Concern: High in omega-6 fatty acids, which, in excess, can contribute to inflammation. Additionally, refined oils may contain trace residues from processing. 13. Dimethylpolysiloxane (Antifoaming Agent) • Purpose: Prevents foaming. • Concern: This is a type of silicone, generally safe in small amounts, but some people prefer to avoid it due to its synthetic nature. 14. Polysorbate 60 • Purpose: Emulsifier, stabilizes texture. • Concern: Derived from petrochemicals; in some people, it may cause digestive issues or mild allergic reactions. 15. Sorbitan Monostearate • Purpose: Emulsifier. • Concern: Generally safe but may cause digestive issues in some people, especially in larger quantities. 16. Paraffin (Less than 2%) • Purpose: Stabilizer, though it’s unclear why it’s in a food product. • Concern: Paraffin is generally safe but is often used in industrial applications; its use in food is unusual and could be off-putting to some consumers. 17. Sunflower Lecithin • Purpose: Emulsifier to keep ingredients mixed. • Concern: Generally safe and is a preferred alternative to soy lecithin for those avoiding soy. 18. FD&C Red #40 • Purpose: Synthetic colorant. • Concern: Linked to hyperactivity and behavioral issues in some children; may also cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. It’s banned in certain countries for these reasons. Summary of Potential Concerns Your protein powder contains multiple artificial additives, including sweeteners (sucralose, acesulfame potassium), coloring agents (FD&C Red #40), and emulsifiers (polysorbate 60, sorbitan monostearate), which may be of concern for people looking to avoid synthetic or processed ingredients. Additionally, titanium dioxide and refined soybean oil may have health implications, especially if consumed frequently.

Finally… a Protein My Body Actually Likes
I’ve been a bit of a gym rat over the years — on and off, never quite as consistent as I’d like (working on that for my 2026 glow-up 😄). And in all that time, I’ve tried a lot of protein powders. Let me just say this upfront: there is a MASSIVE difference between this one and the rest. Here’s why. This is a true carnivore beef isolate. It’s just beef protein — no lactose, no weird fillers, no mystery ingredients I can’t pronounce. And my body can absolutely tell the difference. First of all… it actually tastes like chocolate. Not fake, chemical, “why does this exist?” chocolate — just normal, pleasant chocolate flavor. Second, it does not make my stomach bloat. And that is huge. Every other protein powder I’ve tried with all the additives? Instant bloat city. And if my stomach is bloated while I’m trying to get strong and toned, that’s not going to work for this female — especially when you’re nearing 50. Let’s just be honest. This one digests beautifully. No discomfort. No heaviness. Just clean fuel. My go-to: One scoop in my Bullet blender with a banana, peanut butter, or whatever berries I have on hand — and boom. I’m full, satisfied, and my body is actually breaking it down instead of fighting it. Now, the only thing I’ll knock a half point for (but not enough to drop a star): The container is HUGE… and it’s only about halfway full. I really wish they’d package this in a bag instead, because it feels a little silly. But that’s packaging — not the product itself. Bottom line: If you’re sensitive to dairy, tired of bloating, want clean protein, and actually want something your body likes — this is it. I’m super happy with it and will absolutely keep using it.

Tasted like a Blue _____ (insert adjective/noun/adverb)
Heh. I saw the reviews and decided to try this brand. I tried the Blue Raspberry and it was probably the most vile disgusting thing I ever had but still better than the Muscletech stuff. I mixed in two scoops and shook the bottle but those clumps would not disintegrate at all. Hmmm. I looked at them and added a little more water and shook harder but yep, they remained. I silently cursed and thought this stuff is too damn expensive to toss so I flipped my bottle open and began to swill it down. I got about halfway before my gag reflex kicked in, man this stuff had a bite like some type of venom! I pinched my nose and went back to chugging away. The more I drank the more I felt like Dr Jeckyl turning into Mr. Hyde! This stuff was strong! Like some type of Donkey Punch! But surprisingly it was very easy on the gut! No bloating and bubbling at all! I powered through my workout and it felt like I was being fueled off empyrean fire! I finished my workout and later evaluated my stomach. Still no slithering snakelike bubbling like Muscletech so I side-eyed the bottle and thought I could take another scoop for post workout. The bottle seemed to mock me. Maybe it was my imagination, maybe it wasn't. Anyway I put another scoop in the bottle with water (which is the worst by the way) and slammed it. It felt like the cheapest most revolting and nauseating shot of whiskey I ever had but still great on the gut and it actually felt like it was working right away. In closing, it is not the best at taste but I have grown to like it now and it's so easy on the gut it's now number 1 for me. Uh...as it exits the body it seems to be irradiated. Like nuclear waste. And it' s kind of flourescent. That is all. Buy it!
