Review: Definitely fun kit! - Great kit! My 3 grandsons played with this for several hours. You do need the tractor pods so we had already bought several other than what’s in the kit. But the set up is cool and thee boys thought of other ways to use it to “do science experiments “. I would definitely purchase again. And it’s worth keeping to use later for other pods. Review: Fun toy - My 6-year-old and 3 year-old grandsons really enjoyed playing with this. We went through 8 creatures in one setting. Assembly was not difficult and you basically add water to the egg with the creature inside. The bubbling and foam made it fun for the boys. I did place the toy on a large baking sheet and I’m glad I did. The water and foam easily over flow the toy and would have run on the table without it. I wish the refills weren’t so expensive. ## Features - HANDS-ON SCIENCE DISCOVERY - 15-piece STEM lab set with reactor pods containing mystery creatures that dissolve in fizzing reactions, perfect for ages 5+ - COMPLETE EXPERIMENT KIT - Includes liquid reactor base, 2 hydroplungers, beakers, tongs, stir rod, and classification cards for authentic lab experiences - EDUCATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT - Teaches chemistry concepts through color mixing, reactions, and scientific observation while kids extract and identify collectible creatures - VERSATILE LEARNING TOOL - Use for homeschool science lessons, classroom activities, birthday parties, or rainy day experiments with included experiment guide - MESS-CONTAINED FUN - Overflow tray catches spills while children pump colored water through tubes to reveal hidden creatures in safe, supervised play. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07BZB8K64 | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Best Sellers Rank | #95,380 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #813 in Educational Science Kits | | Brand Name | Learning Resources | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 1,914 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Critical Thinking, Exploratory Skills, Observation Skills, STEM | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00765023038132 | | Included Components | 2 Reactor Pods withmystery Beaker Creatures• 1 Liquid Reactor Super Lab base• 2 Hydroplungers• 2 Beakers• 1 Set of tongs• 1 Stir rod• 2 Classification cards• 2 Mini-posters withamazing science facts• 1 Experiment guide• 1 Full-size poster | | Item Dimensions | 15.1 x 10.1 x 4.1 inches | | Item Highlight | STEM Toys, Classroom Must Haves, Science Activities, Physics and Chemistry Set, Homeschool Supplies | | Item Type Name | Beaker Creatures Liquid Reactor Super Lab - Toy of The Year Finalist | | Item Weight | 1 kg | | Manufacturer | Learning Resources | | Manufacturer Part Number | LER3813 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | No Warranty | | Manufacturer recommended age | 5 - 8 years | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | LER3813 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Set Name | Beaker Creatures Liquid Reactor Super Lab | | Size | Small | | Sub Brand | Alien | | Theme | Chemistry | | UPC | 765023038132 604945338190 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![Learning Resources Beaker Creatures Liquid Reactor Super Lab - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91YvkOWy-JS.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this something that can be used again and again? Or is it 1-2 times and then done?** A: Yes and no. It comes with two pods and once those are used up, you're left with a set of beakers, mixing spoon, and center "reactor ". You could fill the center reactor with baking soda and then use the plungers to push vinegar inside. Or you could put a bathbomb in the reactor. Or if you have food coloring, you can color your water and then plunge in to mix. Of course, you can do all of these without this kit. **Q: Are the creatures based on actual germs or chemicals or just make believe? Would like something with a little bit of real world application.** A: Hello Amazon Customer! The Reactor Super Lab comes with instructions needed to perform amazing real-world science experiments inspired by the creatures and their home planets. instructions needed to perform amazing real-world science experiments inspired by the creatures and their home planets. **Q: I know the kit comes with 2 reactor pods, but can you order more separately?** A: Yes you can. 6-pack $28.99 amazon prime **Q: Is this intended for use by 2 children or 1?** A: Hello Amazon customer! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My 5 year olds are obsessed! *by A***M on December 27, 2021* My twin girls absolutely love the reactor! They got it as a part of a few different beaker creature sets. That said, a bit if advice- I would NOT get this kit as your starter set. Instead, if this is your first beaker creature kit, get the alien lab kit with the smaller beaker and the collander to start. The reason being is that kit provides the tools and instructions needed to create new pods using things you can get from the grocery store. This way you're not having to constantly buy new pods and can just make new ones for the various experiments they list. If you get just this kit you don't get what is needed to make new pods, though they do include instructions on how to use the kit for additional experiments. Make sure you pay attention to the instructions when putting it together and it will work perfectly and not leak. I will say that the instructions weren't super clear on how to remove the syringes from their holders at the beginning but it shows you how to remove them later in the instructions. Remove them properly to get water for the towers and don't just pour the water in and plug it because the water will flow into the container too soon. In comparison to other popular toys that have you "mix and reveal", this is way less expensive and I'll be purchasing new creatures as rewards for good behavior and great performance at school. I recommend this for any kid that loves doing science experiments at home. ## Frequently Bought Together - Learning Resources Beaker Creatures Liquid Reactor Super Lab,Ages 5+,15 pieces, Homeschool, STEM, Science Exploration Toy, Science Kit - Learning Resources Beaker Creatures Reactor Pods,6 Pack, Ages 5+,Series 1, STEM Certified Science Toy, Fun Experiments For Kids - Learning Resources Beaker Creatures Series 3 - 6-Pack of Pods, Ages 5+ Science Exploration Toys, STEM Toys for Kids, Homeschool Must Haves, Science for Kids --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://cook.desertcart.com/products/66442984-learning-resources-beaker-creatures-liquid-reactor-super-lab](https://cook.desertcart.com/products/66442984-learning-resources-beaker-creatures-liquid-reactor-super-lab) --- *Product available on Desertcart Cook Islands* *Store origin: CK* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
