Wordworld: Pirate Sheep

See my review of Rocket to the Moon. We also bought this one. Both have had pirate bday parties in the past so this is also a big hit. The graphics are adorable and the way the characters ARE their letters.. is a great way to help kids understand how the letters work together to form words. My 4 and 7 yr olds both love these. The 4 yr old is learning letter sounds and trying to make words and the 7 yr old is practicing his spelling! Fun fun

We were looking forward for this new DVD and weren't disappointed. The stories are really funny ad my son learned some new words to write. Indeed, each Word World DVD is a hit (except Happy birthday Word Friends). My son watch it over and over and now he's 4 and a half and knows how to write at least 30 words with consonant-vowel-consonant and maybe 10 words made of 4 letters. That's a really good show for children learning English as a second language and native English speakers!

This is a fun way to learn to read.

Not only met my standards but the person that received it is thoroughly enjoying it! And he loves to learn! Great way for letter / word recognition.
