Chachi 420 [DVD]

This brilliant hindi movie incorporates both romance and comedy in equal measure. In this film, devoted father Jaiprakash Paswan who after divorcing his wife, is banned from seeing his daughter Bharti when he follows bad advice from a friend and attempts to take her away. When his father in law puts an advertisement in the newspaper for a nanny for his grandaughter, Jai with the help of a make up artist disguises himself as a beautiful woman called Laxmi Godbole. He secures the job when he rescues Bharti by dunking her in a swiming pool when a stay fuse from a firecracker burns her clothes. A number of memorable situations occur as Laxmi aka Jai rescues his ex wife Janiki from a gang of aggressive men, exposes the cook as a thief and becomes the object of his father in law's affection when under his female guise. Eventually Jai reunites with his wife Janiki and they conceal Laxmi's identity from her father by pretending that Laxmi drowned while saving Janiki when Janiki tried to drown herself. This film, inspired by the British film Mrs Doubtfire, is well worth watching.

I had bought dvd of chachi 420... But it is sad to say the Dvd is not properly working..I request the amazon people to check the product and then dispatch the product

I really liked this movie, the impersonation was really fantastic. I could not stop laughing through the whole movie, excelent comedy

I received DVD with bad section on it. We couldn’t watch the movie since Video was getting stuck every few mins after a point.
