This fits my Bodega TWW45 45 liter perfectly. Assuming your 54 is larger this will likely not fit.

My fridge lid is reversable will this work with the lid on either way ?

It opens lengthwise from handle side to rear plug side. It doesn't matter which way the door is. I've used it with mine in both door positions.
