I love this product and it's quite affordable. You can buy it at a better price in the stores but it's more difficult to find it locally. It works better than that leading product that seems to be the only one on the shelves nowadays. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Honest non-incentivized review: We were having some real problems with mineral and "other/unknown" buildup in our Frigidaire dishwasher. This presented as a white film on plasticware, and as white particles on glassware and other items. We tried vinegar, baking soda, goo-gone, and many other citric acid based remedies with little success. It was getting ridiculous. This product worked when we used it on three consecutive cycles of an empty dishwasher. Fill the soap dispenser and pour the rest of the packet into the bottom. This left us only one additional packet for a future treatment. After getting 90-percent of the gunk using this product, we immediately began adding small amounts of citrate in addition to our regular dishwashing powder in the soap dispenser for normal runs with dishes. This has continued to clean up any remaining crud, and our dishwasher is now completely clean on the inside, and the dishes come out clean as well. Buy this product and use it liberally for a day. It is worth the cost to get a dirty dishwasher clean again! We don't have extremely hard water, but we were having buildup that I now believe was a combination of minerals and grease (from washing out pet food cans prior to recycling). If you search for "white residue on plastic" in dishwashers, you'll see hundreds of people with this problem, and dozens of suggestions to fix it. This product, used on consecutive cycles, will clean your dishwasher deeply. Use all the packets and just accept the cost is worth it. ☮️

This does the job but I do notice some granulars left in the washer after using. Not alot but some.

This is a great powder to use if your washer has started smelling like a landfill in June. I have used it two different ways and one of them definitely worked better than the other. I'll detail both and let you decide how to proceed. First in the dispenser on my front loader washer as directed. It cleaned the machine only so so. I wasn't impressed by the cleaning job but I was impressed at how much of the powder didn't wash away from the dispenser. Second time I added it straight to the tub. This time I got a much better result. The smell was totally gone, leaving behind a Tide-like smell. I still had to wipe all the gaskets and the door but I expected that. My washer sees an insane amount of gunk and unfortunately it stinks much of the time so I use these types of products once a week to prevent any issues. I have dogs so I expect to do routine cleaning. When I first bought this brand, I used 3 packets quickly since it had been a bit since I last cleaned it. Chalk that up to stress and a forgetful mind. I now get it sent automatically monthly and I can't ever forget again. My washer always smells nice and now so does everything I wash.

This product was effective for cleaning our front loading washing machine however I did not like the smell as much as the Tide washing machine cleaner and will buy that brand in the future.

Carbona is a very good brand. It helped my washer so much that I no longer smell the residue off the machine. After using four consecutive packets twice per week, I noticed the change immediately after. A clean washer is a happy washer.

Easy to use to clean your washing machine once a month. Just make sure the washing machine is empty and use hot water on normal cycle.
