All star performance and looks.
Great comfy noise protection. My head is on the big side ~7.5+. These sort of comfortably clamp onto my head which ensures it does not slip off while bending or doing anything sanely rigorous. For fun I've had a pair of 11 years olds try to scream through them. Only normal speech level sounds penetrated. I've biked in em (probably not recommended for sane people), worked with hammer drills, chop saws, loud grinders, near noisy air pumps...all while comfortably enjoying classical on WQXR (NYC NPR). They're comfortable to wear. And it's personally entertaining to see the mind boggled look on the faces of little children when these are accompanied by some mirror lens sunglasses as they take in the fashion statement. One or two have actually "look mommy look!". Lastly the stitching and material choices give a sense of quality. Although it won't mute a nagger it will take the sharp edges off the vocal so that you only hear pleasant speech. They came with a pair of Duracell copper top's that have been lasting ~5 weeks so far with minimally 4 hr per day use and still going.

Great for Lawn Mowing- I use this product with an old iPhone4 and my Amazon Prime Music App. I can listen to music without having the volume too loud while mowing with my garden tractor. The set blocks out most external noise and allows me to listen to mid-quality sound music. As many mention, these are not meant to be high-end audio; however they blend external noise reduction with okay audio. The fit is comfortable and I can plug them into the phones 3.5mm or through the 30-pin connector (need a 30-pin to 3.5mm to accomplish this) and audio quality is about the same. The Honeywell set automatically senses there is an external source plugged in and swithches to auxillary input mode (AU). Volume control can be changed from both the iPhone and the headset control- some have reported the headset does not do this, but it does. I have used the FM receiver a little and it appears to work fine.

Good quality and comfortable.
Good quality, so far good reception, comfortable. I really like the timed off function as my old ones would get turned on in the tool box and run down the batteries. Not loud when using a remote audio feed but plenty loud when listening to the radio function.

Stopped working less than 1 year/no support
Stopped working after one season. No support from Honeywell. Honeywell's websites (and there are many) can't even find this model with a search function. Honeywell owns Sperian (which owns Howard Leight, which makes a similar unit) - maybe this is causing the lack of support? Regardless, the audio part is broken and I'm left with a very overpriced set of "normal" earmuffs. I originally bought a Sync pair from Stanley (bright yellow, identical functions). My wife started using the Stanley pair so much that I needed another set and I bought the Honeywell unit for her, and I kept the Stanley set. The Honeywell unit lasted one season of very light use and is toast. The Stanley set is three years old and working great. These two units look the same, but have a few build differences: 1. Honeywell battery compartment open very easily, sometimes too easily. Stanley battery compartment requires a very firm push before the cover moves. 2. Both units have a metal bridge in the battery compartment. The Honeywell unit has the bridge loosely placed in a slot, and the bridge slides around. The Stanley unit has the bride placed firmly, with no movement even after three years of constant use (and multiple battery changes). These are minor differences (that didn't bother me at first), but it's enough that I wonder if Honeywell unit has either been re-engineered to lower costs, or if it's just a knock off. I'll buy another Stanley set to replace this one. If the new Stanley set has the same build changes as the defective Honeywell unit, I'll update the review.

Best AM/FM hearing protection I've ever owned
I've gone through several pairs of these, the 3m version, knockoff brands. This set appears to be very well made and is significantly better at reducing exterior noise. Sounds is not out of this world but again these are not meant to be audiophile headphones, They are meant to be able to listen to the radio while working in a noisy environment and at that, they do a great job! Would highly recommend these and paying the few bucks extra vs cheaper knockoff versions

Could bit a large head better
Good unit. Works well. Good battery life. The sizing of the headset is a bit small for me. Would be good if it was a bit (1/2 to 1 inch) bigger when "ear muffs" are pulled out all the way.

I am so happy with this ear pro after trying out one of the alternatives at a lower price. Why? Because it's very well made and it has a very good FM tuner. It put the other one to shame. It is also way better than my old "two station" (that's all it could pull in) analog ear pro with FM. I live in a rural mountainous area in VT ... FM reception is a challenge here that was easily met with this unit. I use lion rechargeable AA batteries and it will run for many hours on a charge. I turned up several similar units with different branding all had identical specs except for color and all had Sync in there names. This was the best priced unit I found. I am pleased with it.
