I cannot comment on all uses of this product. I use it only for immersing my hand in a hot wax machine for therapy. So far, I've used only one of the six packages. but they all appear to be identical. I like the fact that I don't have to cut what I want off of a large block. Each package is just about the right size for adding to my machine. Unlike some others, I did not find the light lavender smell offensive. I have a pretty sensitive sense of smell, but still found it to be pretty mild. Yeah, if I stick my nose right down to the warm surface, it may have a slightly artificial/chemical aura, but it's inoffensive. The wax melted nicely--no lumps-- and went on my hand evenly. It also peeled off easily without leaving bits of wax, and left my hand feeling very nice. So no complaints here. (I think some people may have problems, because they don't immerse enough times to get a good layer of wax. It takes about 5 "dips" to make it worthwhile). I found it to be a good product, well packaged and a good price. If it's still available when I run out, I'll no doubt reorder.
