Inspired by the beautiful true story of a nonverbal boy moved to speech at his first Mozart concert, this picture book is a testament to the power of art and the boundless joy it can bring. When Grandfather comes to take his grandson to a concert, Ronan is quiet as they leave the house, quiet in the car, and quiet at the concert hall. But when the performance is over and the beautiful music fades out at last, Ronan opens his mouthโฆand lets out a great big WOW! Not any old WOW, but Ronanโs very first WOW! That one word fills up the hearts of Ronanโs family, the musicians, the audience, andโwhen the recording goes viralโthe world. Review: Wonderful Read - This book is based upon a true story that is just so sweet and heartfelt. I highly recommend Review: WOW what a great book - Great true story about a boy in Boston who went to hear a concert at Symphony Hall and what he said after experiencing the wonderful music. I sent it to my grandchildren and they loved it. I am on a selection committee for choosing books to read in the schools and our committee selected it as a book we will be reading next year. I highly recommend it.

A well written book!
Such a sweet story about a boy of few words who couldnโt help but respond to the beautiful music he heard with a heartfelt โWow!โ He seemed to be speaking for everyone! A favorite story to read to children.

Impactful
Purchased to donate to library at the elementary school where my daughter is the librarian. It got checked out within 2 days & is getting great feedback as useful in helping the children understand & accept those who are different.

Saw story on YouTube
I'm old RN of 40+ yrs; half of that in many pediatric specialties. Great for children in early reading and maybe useful to talk a child into going to a orchestra concert. Or a gift for family with autism.

Great Representation, Great Book
This book is a great addition to my elementary music classroom. I love teaching about how different people experience music differently, and the fact that this book is based on a real boy and a real experience give the book more merit.

Damaged
The book tells a good story. After waiting several weeks for the item to arrive (it has been popular) when I received it the dust jacket was torn in two places. The item is intended as a gift.
