This comes ready to go out of the box. It's a great value for your money, and looks awesome! It blends in to any room, and doesn't look out of place. It is very stable, and doesn't flex when they use it. It also doesn't move or slide when they get in or out. Very stable, and offers both a place to sleep and a place to play/scratch. Very versatile in that way. Would definitely recommend for anyone with cats who love to scratch.

This is the best quality and stylish cat scratcher i've found! I've bought 6 to date because my cat loves them and even sleeps on them. Totally saving my carpet for sure! Think he likes the unique concave shape of this one and because it's so sturdy it doesn't move when he scratches like cheaper ones do. Appreciate that this whole unit is essentially recyclable or at least contains no plastic so it can decompose naturally and more environmentally friendly vs. other versions. Worth the price!

Our cats love this thing. I have to replace it every other month at $40 a pop. But, the cats have left our furniture alone since we got these. It is too expensive and should have replacement inserts made available. We found square box scratchers which have replacement inserts and the cats use them but they prefer the large round one for some reason.

This is my cat’s favorite scratcher! My cat spends all afternoon curled in the scratcher by the window. Very sturdy and durable. We buy one every six months or so, which is a lot for a cardboard scratcher.

So my boyfriend has a cat that would always leave the scratch stuff on our floor very annoying. I ended getting the cat this, the cat can scratch it and all the little pieces from it stays in it. Great! It’s sturdy, it’s big and can fit a large cat.

I bought this same scratch bowl 5 years ago and it was still in great shape, but my kitty ended up ruining it with some runny vomit. I tried an oblong bowl that was cheaper but she wasn't happy with the shape. She prefers round bowls so I'm back for another one. :)

Received a different brand. Looks very different from the picture. There were some scratches as well. Not worth the price. Expected better quality for the price.
