Love the wrench, have bought 5 of them and gave them to my friends as gifts

It's a wrench, but it's a very, very, handy wrench. It solves the most annoying issue with the regular thumb-screw style adjustable wrenches. - Instead of losing your adjustment and having to fiddle with the thumb screw each time you take the wrench off of your bolt, because the adjustment went too loose to turn or two narrow to span the bolt head- it doesn't matter. Open the wrench wide with the slide, and then close it quickly around the bolt head. - It takes a fraction of a second, and makes the whole process much easier.

Overall, this wrench is quite amazing, and i love the rapid adjust feature. Pro: Fast, easy Seems pretty high quality saves time not much wrong with this Problems: slider is only on one side, lefties might have issues with this wrench Smooth but not professional smooth slide, a TAD jerky but nothing that would bother anyone short of a perfectionist, in which case the shoudl not be buying a $15 wrench. Comments: it weights more then i thought it would. More then your standard ACE hardware store adjustable wrench anyway Works very well for tech and lighting work

I’m a now retired heavy truck mechanic and have owned various Crescent brand wrenches over the years. They have always been outstanding and well made in the USA. While the rapid slide adjustment intrigued me and since I have arthritis it would help not having to use the old style adjustment. The tool seems well made enough but I just can’t get used to buying tools made in China. I specifically searched the photos of the packaging for an indication as to its origin but it showed nothing. When I received the item the back of the packaging clearly states “Made in China “ it’s like it was off the description so people like me would believe it’s USA made. Time will tell.

This is a horrible piece of trash. The sliding mechanism sticks constantly and will annoy you immediately upon using it. The wrench is very thick and not that balanced. The adjustable jaw doesn't stay in place when tightening a nut. This has got to be the largest piece of garbage straight out of China that I have ever bought. Crescent should be ashamed to have their name on this useless hunk of wasted metal. I will never never buy another Crescent brand tool again. Please do yourself a favor and buy a traditional adjustable wrench.

Great concept, but make sure to add some oil or lubricant every now and then to keep the slider from becoming stiff.

Buena herramienta y muy práctica

Weitaus bequemer als ein klassischer Rollgabelschlüssel. Habe den Schlüssel sofort mit Silikonpaste geschmiert wodurch die Mechanik sich viel angenehmer bewegen lässt. Die Ausführung ist relativ breit, was manchmal stören kann. Für meine Anwendungsbereiche jedoch eine sehr praktische Ergänzung zu den Gabel- und Rollgabelschlüsseln.

It’s always tricky finding new tools for the man in your life who has every thing diy! I think that he liked this and it made his life easier! Good value for money too.
