Good product for my 4l60e
Good fit overall, the O-ring isn’t as tight as I would like, but I think it will be fine.

The part is beautifully machined
I bought this based on another review and it is a very nice piece. With a tight bend at the transmission the dipstick easily inserts. The only issue is that the part that fits into the transmission is a tiny bit under size. Careful use of Silicone RTV will I am sure compensate for the looseness.

Too short
Looks great but is too short. I replaced the stock dip stick on my 96 Chevy Blazer and it's about 6in too short. It's very hard to reach now.

Looks SOOO much better than the original
I can find no faults with this item so far. It looks great, seems to be of good material and construction and was easy to install. Based on other reviews I did add a bead of RTV around the base part where it mates/seats into the transmission. The o-rings that came with it may have sufficed and kept it from leaking but I added the RTV as a precautionary move. So far I’m extremely happy with this item and would gladly order it again and I recommend it !!!

Beware
Buy Lokar. I bought this for a 4l80 to replace a lokar that was short but worked great. This thing name fits hahaha as it leaks fluid all over because it double o ring doesn’t seal anything. Don’t buy.

Great but doesn’t fit trans
Very beautiful peice high quality but it does not fit into my transmission. I tried 4l60e and 6l80e did not fit but looks cool I’ll see what I can do

Exactly what I ordered

Had to disassemble the part that goes into the trans to get it in. Very tight fit with little clearance to the case on a 4L60E from a 2000 2wd pickup. I also had to shorten the part that inserted as it was physically too long to get it straight enough to insert in the dipstick hole.

Works as it should. About typical quality as most things are nowadays. Came with a small fill tube to assist with filling from a small funnel.

I returned the product since it didn't seem to fit into the transmission tight enought to seal. Would have been an easier install if there was no engine in the car...or to have a way to mark and drill mounting holes. AND I can't imagine filling a fresh transmission through this little tiny tube.
