Not only do I love the animal print/images on my blanket, it is really soft & smooth on the skin. This blanket is pretty warm and fits my Queen bed perfectly. Blanket quality is pretty good as well, no complaints I have on this purchase!

This blanket feels super soft and plush, but it is not too heavy or thick. It is soft and fuzzy with images on both sides, and the blanket is quite large. For me, the colors of the blanket are way too bright and exaggerated. Looking at the product page and customer reviews, the level of color looks fine and appear rather subdued. But that is not the coloring that we got; the extreme colors on our blanket make it look almost psychedelic and cartoony. I appreciate that the blanket is not too thick, so I can use it in the spring and fall as well. It makes me feel warm without getting too hot. And, on those especially cold nights it is big enough for me to fold over for double thickness. The top of the blanket and the underside are actually two separate pieces of fabric held together by border strips that act as hems and are sewn in the entire way around the blanket. Unfortunately, a few months after we began using it, the hems on the blanket began to unravel. I do not know whether the threads were simply not properly tied off, but the two threads used to sew the hem are interdependent; so, when one thread begins to pull out, the entire hem stitching comes out. It appears I will have to hand-sew the entire hem if I want to keep the blanket bordering that keeps the two sides held together. Ugh. Unlike some colorful fluffy blankets, the colors on this blanket are not merely painted on superficially, but go all the way down, so it will probably not fade too much over time. And the colors are very vibrant. After seeing videos of the blanket, I was still surprised at how colorful the blanket was when I opened it up. And, for some reason, after laying it out on the bed, all four dogs decided to lay down on it and sleep on it throughout the night; this never happens because they all have their own beds. Because they have very rough pads on the bottoms of their feet, I do not know how they could feel or appreciate the softness of the blanket, but they apparently do, and all wanted to stake their claim to their own quadrant. The blanket had only a very faint factory smell that neither myself nor the dogs seemed to mind. You are paying a pretty penny for this blanket, but it seems to be a blanket you will keep and cherish for a long time. Just do not expect that you will be getting a very thick or heavy blanket; it is very nice and cozy, but not very thick.
