Mine has just started leaking from the bottom? Anyone got any clues how to fix this?

We have just received our 2nd replacement today our other two both started leaking from inside not the drain bung. But can't complain about after service both replaced without any problems very good customers service

Does it recycle the water from melted ice and make more with it?

Yes it does and it is covered so is fine to leave and reuse

My last icemaker was very noisy . Is this one quiet?

It does make some noise. There is the usual whirring as the internal workings fill the top chamber, and then the rattle as the cubes tumble into the basket. But it is a lot quieter than its predecessor, and also a lot smaller. It is also quite quick, with the first cubes appearing say 15 mins after starting. We really like it. Noise is not an issue for us as it is in the utility room.

Is there an option to keep the machine on so that the ice that’s in there stays frozen but without making more ice?

no there isnt, the machine makes ice to fill the ice basket. Once full it will stop making ice, but when the ice level drops it will start making ice again. the inner chamber is insulated, but not chilled.
