Anthony's Cacao Cocoa Nibs

These are GREAT cacao nibs — exactly what I was looking for: intensely chocolatey, slightly bitter, and wonderfully crunchy. I noticed several reviews complaining that the nibs are “too hard” or “too crunchy,” which honestly confused me a little. They’re cacao nibs. They’re pieces of an actual cacao bean, not chocolate chips. 😂 They’re *supposed* to have a firm, crunchy texture. If you’re expecting something soft, sweet, or melt-in-your-mouth, you probably want chocolate rather than cacao nibs. If you actually want cacao nibs with the satisfying crunch they’re supposed to have, these are excellent. HELPFUL TIP: If you’re looking for cacao to put in your coffee, do NOT get nibs — get raw ground/powdered cacao instead. SIDE NOTE: Raw cacao is NOT “dark-chocolate sweet.” It is naturally bitter and intensely chocolatey, so don’t expect it to taste like a sweetened dark chocolate bar.

Tastes as good as the only other brand I’ve tried. I have been watching my weight and using cocoa nibs in my morning tea. 1 heaping tsp tea and 1 heaping tsp nibs in a tea infuser, steeped, lightly sweetened or not, a splash of creamer and in under 5 minutes a lovely cocoa flavored morning beverage that has completely satisfied any and all sweets cravings for months. Chocolate Cocoa magic! They smell amazing, I would purchase again.

Highly recommended cacao nibs from a brand which we have learned to trust and always delivers high quality at a reasonable price. So good for heart and overall general health, many other plusses such as organic and sugar free, great straight out of the bag, pop a few in your coffee, and wonderful for baking. They are easy to use and require no prep. Just be aware that the texture is unlike the usual forms of chocolate you may be used to, and there is no sweetness. Very slight possible downside is that cacao nibs are best (most nutrient dense) when raw, and there is no mention on the package whether these are raw or minimally processed.

I bought these for making coffee and they are great for coffee. Not as tasty as other brands I've had and I prefer another brand for nibbling on or putting in other foods. These are good for the price and make a delicious coffee for sure! I would recommend them.

Always great

If you're expecting chocolate chips, prepare for a character-building experience. These cacao nibs are what chocolate was before sugar arrived and started making friends. They're crunchy, intensely chocolatey, slightly bitter, and surprisingly satisfying once you stop expecting them to taste like dessert. I throw them into yogurt, oatmeal, smoothies, and occasionally eat a few straight from the bag when I feel the need to remind myself that adulthood is full of difficult choices. The quality is excellent, the flavor is rich, and the bag lasts a long time. It's like chocolate with all the fun removed and all the health benefits left behind.

Crunchy, flavorful and delicious
