I purchased two of these cameras in April 2024 in order to capture high resolution images and video of the wildlife that visited our garden. In part they were also to establish which animals were responsible for feasting on our plant life! The functionality and imagery from these cameras is very good especially for the price point. They also provide in my opinion very good audio quality and I have not been disappointed. The motion sensors are also very responsive, easily reacting to mice from over 6ft away. A couple of weeks ago I was having issues with ‘fogging’ in the lens of one of the cameras which unfortunately completely ruined any captured video/photos. I reached out to Meidase customer support with details of the problem along with screenshots of the recordings and photos of the camera lens itself. Meidase customer support was first class, responding very quickly and sending me a replacement camera within a few days, no quibble at all. Also, they did not just send a replacement camera ‘body’ so to speak but a whole new retail package which includes the battery, straps, charging cable etc. Absolutely top drawer service which is not always something we see, especially for an item that is not exactly cheap. Still very happy with the cameras and very pleased with Meidase for sorting out a replacement camera so quickly. UPDATE - 29/03/26 During the past couple of years I have had to contact Meidase support relating to the cameras. On each occasion the customer service has been faultless. My messages were replied to promptly and I have been sent replacement items quickly and without any further query. Overall, Meidase have been a pleasure to deal with and provide peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that you will be looked after in the event of a problem.

This works quite well does what I wanted to do so very pleased

I originally bought a single trail camera. I found a. the battery lasted well (over 5 months and still going) before it needs recharging. b. the ability to view the results remotely very useful c. the ability to reformat the SD card and alter the camera settings remotely also useful. You can keep the camera setup insitu and yet see results. I have eventually finished up with 4 cameras. The ones in the garden and around the pond can be viewed from the house, you can see the view from the camera in real time from your armchair. One camera developed a fault which the supplier rectified without a quibble. I would highly recommend these cameras.

Love the rechargeable battery life. The best part is that you can communicate wirelessly using an app which allows you to change the the settings and view photos and videos on your phone and delete them. So much better than previous cameras where you have to open the back to view information on a small screen and navigate the settings using fiddly buttons. Love it!

At best when the camera did work the day videos were sporadic and the night videos were none existent. Now,over the last few months it seems the camera has slowly got worse and worse and now refuses to capture any images at all! When opening the case you can see from the picture the screen is totally misted over and the battery compartment full of water. A very expensive camera but poor quality..

Fantastic bit of kit, good quality pictures and videos, easy to use even for a simpleton like me, would highly recommend it.

Failed to work at night

J'ai commandé cet article au mois de novembre dernier. Livré très rapidement. Je l'ai mis en route sans problème, même si le mode d'emploi n'était pas en français dans l'emballage, car le site permettait de l'obtenir. Si l'on suit bien toutes les consignes la caméra donne de très bonnes photos et vidéos. Malgré tout un problème est survenu au cours du mois d'avril les images nocturnes présentant une ligne flottante de points blancs. Ayant demandé l'explication auprès du vendeur, celui-ci a répondu dans la foulée que le problème était couvert par la garantie et trois jours plus tard j'ai reçu une nouvelle caméra qui fonctionne très bien. Le service après-vente de Meidase est très réactif et donne des conseils utiles. Merci à lui qui mérite les 5 étoiles. Quatre étoiles pour la première caméra certes, j'espère cinq pour la nouvelle.

Ho acquistato la fototrappola per tenere sotto controllo il passaggio degli animali selvatici dal mio giardino e direi che posso ritenermi soddisfatto dell'acquisto. La confezione arriva completa di: - Fototrappola con antenna per la connessione all'app del cellulare - Batteria al litio con cavo di ricarica USB-C e relativo adattatore - Cavo dati usb - Cinghia di fissaggio - Libretto di istruzioni per la fototrappola, arrivato in inglese e tedesco e il venditore mi ha automaticamente inviato la versione in italiano in fase d'ordine - Libretto di istruzioni per la batteria, anche questo in inglese e tedesco ma comunque nulla di particolarmente complicato La fototrappola ha diverse possibilità di configurazione con le quali si possono impostare oltre che la modalità e le risoluzioni di foto o video anche il numero di scatti consecutivi o la lunghezza delle registrazioni, periodi e intervalli di funzionamento, modalità di cattura tramite movimento o attivazione periodica in Time Lapse. Non ho trovato così scontato riuscire a registrare qualcosa, soprattutto di notte, e ho dovuto fare diverse prove, e per questo ho trovato molto comoda e funzionale l'applicazione per cellulare che oltre ad evitare di dover smontare o aprire la fototrappola per scaricarne il contenuti, permette di modificare direttamente le impostazioni e controllarne il diretto funzionamento. Oltretutto sia l'app che il software della fototrappola hanno la possibilità di selezione della lingua. Anche se i sensori di movimento laterali mi sembra che non abbiano del tutto la stessa angolazione dell'obiettivo, infatti su oggetti troppo vicini la registrazione parte in ritardo, la fototrappola ha una buona portata sia di giorno che di notte e una notevole sensibilità, non mi aspettavo che potesse attivarsi con qualcosa di piccolo come un riccio. Passando alla batteria al litio, il motivo per cui ho scelto questo modello, per ora sembra avere una buona durata e anche se sicuramente la ricaricherò tramite la sua presa usb, trovo utile che ci sia la possibilità di ricaricarla anche tramite il connettore esterno a 12 Volt, che ho visto funzionare anche se durante la ricarica non si accende il led sulla batteria. Trovo la differenza di prezzo un po' altina rispetto al modello a pile alcaline. 4 stelle abbondanti.

Meidase P100P Caméra de Chasse WiFi est autonome avec sa Batterie au Lithium Rechargeable de 8000mAh et de bonne qualité d’image avec un réglage jusqu’à 48MP en photo et 1296P H.264 en Video. Elle est équipée en No Glow Infrarouge Vision Nocturne et de 3 détecteurs de mouvements qui fonctionnent avec la chaleur donc qui ne sont pas opérationnels derrière une vitre. La notice est en français et très explicite. L’application est facile d’utilisation dans plusieurs langues dont le français mais elle ne se connecte que lorsque l’on désactive le VPN du smartphone. L’application est très réactive pour les réglages et le visionnage des vidéos. Par contre , il est difficile de supprimer les vidéos via l’application.

Fonctionne parfaitement bien très étonné par la durée de la batterie c'est vraiment le top pas besoin de la démonter toutes les semaines même touts les mois pour la recharger de très belle vidéo et photos de jour comme de nuit. 👍 La connectivité est très pratique aussi. 👍
