Fantastic recipes, detailed and easy to understand and follow, common ingredients, gorgeous pictures of each dessert. I'd recommend this book to anyone wanting to venture into raw desserts, it's super easy to follow. In the end the presentation wins! Your guests will be impressed. I'd start with the ones that do not require dehydration as they are much shorter time to the finished product. Thank you!

My seven year old is our big baker and she asked me to buy this book for her after checking in out from the library. (She's so cute!) These are simple, healthy recipes that don't require a ton of weird ingredients. If you have coconut products like oil and butter, you'll be fine. We don't use agave anymore but we do use a raw sugar and the recipes are just as yummy.

There are so many amazing and yummy looking recipes in this book but you need to have a dehydrator and I would guess a pretty good one. I did make the "fudge" which does not require a dehydrator and it was terrific. I want to have the full RAW experience but I think I will need to throw down some bucks not just for the equipment but also the ingredients. I would not recommend going cheap on the nuts or nut butters that are required in these recipes as the whole purpose of eating RAW is to preserve the integrity of the food and most verified producers of Fair Trade and Organic products are very expensive. Also, the prep and processing time seems like a serious commitment. This is for the meticulous and committed RAW foodie but for the rest of us it appears that the effort and expense may be well worth it. I just gotta work this into my budget....

Excellent cookbook with a range of delicious dessert recipes. Be forewarned, though: you need a dehydrator.

I have been familiar with Susan's recipes for several years beginning when I discovered her food calendars with recipes. She is a very creative chef and photographer. I was hoping for some easy raw desserts (as in the title) but most of the recipes required a lot more ingredients than I had on hand. I have not yet made anything from the book but hope to give a more complete review later.

I've been eyeing this book for a while and it has so many delicious looking treats that I can't wait to dig into. I'm excited about this one!

Like this book for recipes

LOVE this book. The recipes are easy to follow, with ingredients you can actually find and the pictures are a must. I love having a picture to go by when trying new recipes. I definitely "judge a book by its cover" in this instance. I love this book. Highly recommend!
