It strongly appears by my symptoms (and a stool test that showed undigested carbs) that I wasn't breaking down carbs or starches well. That resulted in clear lowered energy and a tendency to become extremely fatigued after a day's activities. I finally put two and two together, and started taking this Amylase with each and every carb I might eat. And I definitely noticed an uptake in my energy level! Thank you Ness for making this product. It's a life-saver for me.

I'll start with the facts. Amylase is present naturally in human saliva and is where digestion first begins. I have less saliva these days due to allergy medications. I found this product to be helpful for minimizing gas and I believe they assist with the mobility of food in your body. I just think the quantity is too small for the recommended dosage. You think you're getting a lot, but the pills are small and you need 3 at a time, so this bottle is only really a 1 month supply. I will be reordering, however, I think it would be better if three capsules were combined into one, and/or the quantity per bottle was increased. Other than that, They are easy to swallow, didn't cause me any allergic reactions, and I found them to be effective.

I have always had problems digesting potatoes, yams, and even grains (bloating, indigestion, etc.). Taking 2-3 of these before I eat potatoes or grains completely solves the problem. I love Ness and this product, their digestive enzymes including formula 21 were recommended by my doctor and they have always worked well for me.

These worked perfectly for a science lab. No glucose, just amylase enzyme.

It is difficult to find isolated enzymes compared to those that offer a combination of them. I was so happy to discover amylase by itself. When I eat only fruit, I only want to take the one enzyme to aid in sugar digestion. I can also regulate how much I'm consuming by increasing or decreasing the number of pills. I'm glad Amazon has it available. Thank you very much.
