Appears to Be Genuine, Good-Quality Saffron
I tested the quality of this saffron using the cold-water method, as shown in the pictures. I placed a small amount in cold water and left it for a few hours. The water changed colour slowly and only slightly, which is usually a good sign of genuine saffron. Fake or dyed saffron tends to release colour very quickly, which wasn’t the case here. The aroma is also pleasant and natural, not chemical or overpowering, which further suggests good quality. Based on the appearance, smell, and the water test, I believe this saffron is original and of good quality. One point of confusion is the label stating “Non-organic,” which I noticed on the packaging. I’m not sure why this is mentioned, but aside from that, the product itself seems genuine and well presented. Overall, I’m happy with the quality of the saffron and would consider buying it again.

Very potent
Much more potent than the stuff you get in a commonly seen jar in uk supermarkets. Nice flavour and aroma and colour. Excellent value for the money.

Organic by name but NOT by nature.
Not tried yet. Only grumble is their name is Smart Organic Foods then when you look at the back of box it says Non organic. Appreciate the truth. Might of not bought had id know…other than that it looks ok.

Good quality and really lasts
Good value for money overall and use for cooking mostly Indian curries. Still not finished the box after 1 year so very happy with how well this has lasted.

Excellent quality
I LOVE Saffron, I use it for my Swedish grandmothers recipe for Saffran bulllar as she called it. Lusekatter I think might be another name and then Lucia bullar or rolls a third name. My reciepe requires at least one gram of Saffron and so I often make a great big batch of them and freeze them. Soo yummi. I bet there are other things you can use the Saffron for as well. All in all great product.

Though it doesn't say organic n the description it says it on the photo, but the item is not organic and has a sticker label on the back saying so. Other than that it is saffron
