Good balance between light and dark whistles
I have a pretty full set of Susatos. I have found them to be a clean balanced tone set somewhere between my bright metal and darker wooden whistles, and since they are easy and relatively inexpensive to replace, I prefer to use them in most public settings. They do not play as loudly as say a Copeland, but are much louder than an Abell.All round great whistles for almost all occasions except maybe large venues with limited sound reinforcement (I go Copeland there) or quiet recordings (where the Abell whistles most shine).
