Really really good. Heat resistant. First few weeks it kept falling off. But then that stopped. Would reccomend to mum's baby proofing their home

I was a little wary of ordering this product after reading so many poor reviews on it. But i have to say it is amazing. I put the oven on 200c to try the product for an hr and yes it gets warm but my little boy will NOT burn his hands on it. I can now leave him to wander round the kitchen with no worries he may burn himself. The suction pads are good as well, you get 5 and so far have kept it stuck to the door. Cannot recommend this product enough.

Well, I have to say, so far so good. Initially one of the suckers at the top unstuck when the oven was on at 200 degrees, and then I read the instructions (looked simple enough so I didn't bother) that you had to wash the suckers beforehand. Done. Now that I have followed the instructions, the oven guard sticks to the oven glass like glue - doesn't move at high temperatures. An absolute must to protect your small person from badly burning their hands. Was a little sceptical at first due to other reviews, but I am very happy with my purchase. Will update in a few months or so... Update March 2016: Still sticking. If you're having problems - wash the suckers and the over surface to get rid of any grease/residue.

I bought this product to protect my Grandchildren from burning themselves on a hot oven door surface. Within two days it had fallen off and after that, fell off after only a few hours every time I stuck it back on. It wasn't as if only 1 or 2 suction pads came loose. All 5 failed and it regularly fell off. If you look at the reviews on here you will find that, as of 29/12/15, out of 58 reviews, 38 were 3 star or less and in nearly all 38 cases the reviewer makes the same point. The door guard keeps falling off. On the Safetots website, there are 3 reviews, from 2 different people, both of which say exactly the same thing; it keeps falling off. So, it makes it unbelievable that when I emailed Safetots about this, they replied saying: "I have not come across this issue before, however I will of course pass on this information directly to the manufacturers for their technicians to look into this issue further." It beggars belief that with so many negative reviews, all making the same damning point, a company can claim to not be aware of this issue! Make of that statement what you will . . . . . . . . . . . . . Mine is now where it belongs; in the bin.

Only ok, falls off alot especially when oven gets hot. Only attaches by suction cups. Does prevent heat getting through when it does stay on though!

Easy to stick on. Waited a few months to review as wanted to see if held in place. It hasn't moved in months. Hardly notice logo. My toddler has placed hands on at least twice whilst cooking a roast dinner and no dramas. Still leaves about 15mm of uncovered oven door around edges but. Would recommend to any parent with little wanderers

Well if this stayed on the oven door it would be great but unfortunately it’s already dropped on the floor about a thousand times since I’ve had it!! Really really poor suction cups that just don’t work!! I would say it’s a pretty pointless buy because of this which is a shame as it really does reduce the heat of the door!!

Really impressed with this and don't understand the other 1 star reviews. Purchased May 2014, has never fallen off (in two years!) so far. Heat is reduced to a reasonable amount, so child does not melt hand to glass door.

Aunque aveces mi hijo intente despegarlo, la verdad es que nos ha evitado unas cuantas situaciones peligrosas.

Wir haben das Produkt mittlerweile seit 7 Monaten in Gebrauch. Anfangs ist die Platte uns auch zwei- dreimal abgefallen. Nachdem wir aber die Backofenscheibe und die Saugknöpfe gründlich gereinigt haben, ist das nicht mehr passiert. Mittlerweile hängt sie seit Monaten ohne Zwischenabfälle an unserem Herd. Li und re bleibt ein kleiner Rand frei, dieser wird allerdings auch nicht so heiß wie die Scheibe. Wir sind zufrieden und ich würde es weiterempfehlen.

Con un angolo cottura la cucina è sempre a portata di bimbo. Il quale puntualmente si dirigeva verso il forno, lo toccava e provava ad aprirlo. Io e mio marito avevamo il terrore che, con il forno acceso, andasse lì come al solito e si bruciasse. Messa questa protezione insieme al blocco di sicurezza che ne impedisce l'apertura ora siamo più tranquilli e accendiamo il forno con più serenità. Questa protezione isola efficacemente dando la sensazione di una temperatura molto più bassa. Promosso a pieni voti.

Ich war vor dem Kauf sehr skeptisch, weil die Meinungen hier bei Amazon so stark auseinandergehen, hab den Ofenschutz aber dann aus Mangel an Alternativen doch bestellt. Hab aber vorsichtshalber die Verpackung aufgehoben, um es zur Not zurückschicken zu können. Braucht es aber nicht, denn bei uns hält der Ofenschutz sehr gut an der Ofentür. Unsere Küche ist supereng und unser 8 Monate altes Kind kann nur vor dem Backofen sitzen, wenn ich es irgendwo absetzen will, insofern patscht er dann natürlich auch gegen die Backofentür. Der Ofenschutz bietet einen wirklich guten Wärmeschutz. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Da ich eh täglich vor dem Ofenschutz stehe, drücke ich beim Kochen halt mal schnell mit dem Knie dagegen, dann drücke ich die Saugnäpfe auch wieder fest - das geht so nebenbei. Keine Ahnung, ob die Saugnäpfe ohne dieses extra Drücken halten würden, aber auf diese Weise ist alles tipptopp und nur empfehlenswert.

La protezione riduce notevolmente il calore emanato dal forno, e sebbene sia necessario comunque prestare attenzione alle parti che non si riescono a coprire, tutta la parte centrale del forno è protetta e si può cucinare con una maggiore tranquillità. Consigliato!
