This little gadget really helps me get car seat & stroller unbuckled quickly and without difficulty and without breaking finger nails. I have bought multiple sets to give to family members.

Being disabled and having very little strength in my hands it was nearly impossible to unbuckle my son’s car seat. I’ve had to awkwardly loosen the restraints and pull him out of the car seat without unbuckling him on multiple occasions. When I came across this Unbuckle Me device I was skeptical about it working. I ended up ordering a two pack. Once I got the chance to use it, I was shocked how well it worked. Even with no hand strength I was finally able to unbuckle my son! Usually I’d wait for my wife to unbuckle him, now I’m excited I can finally get him out easily. This device is advertised as being used by people with long fingernails, but it is so much more helpful for people with disabilities. I like the fact that it does not attach to the car seat like some of the other devices I’ve seen. I definitely wouldn’t want my son to figure out how to use it and unbuckle himself while I’m driving. We put our Unbuckle Me in the seat pocket for easy reach for me or my wife, but out of reach to our son. I am very happy with my purchase of the Unbuckle Me! Highly recommend this device to anyone with limited hand strength. Grandparents would definitely enjoy this device too.

Works well, easy to use

Carseats can be hard to unbuckle at times, especially new ones. This tool helps ease that difficulty. Great for those with long fingernails, arthritis, dexterity issues or just with a really stiff buckle! Highly recommend!

Do you have nail enhancements? Do you have carpal tunnel? Maybe a weak hand grip? I have all of the above and bought this knowing I would have my nails done up until baby came (I knew even if I took them off once he arrived I’d still have to get him out of the car seat after bringing him home!). I’ve always had a weak hand grip and after a decade of clerical billing work I have residuals from carpal tunnel syndrome too. I thought I’d have to give up my beloved manicured nails but no ma’am! I keep one of these in my car and one in his diaper bag and getting him out of his car seat is no longer my kryptonite. It is a BIT difficult to get used to sliding the back part of the clamp behind the buckle (only reason this is 4/5 stars), but once you do it a few times it comes much more natural. I imagine this would also work well for grandparents who want to watch the grandbabies and have trouble with car seat buckles as well.

I absolutely love these. I’ve went back and forth a lot abt buying them but now that I have I wish I would have sooner. I have Joie careseats and they works great for unbuckling. This is great product for ppl with long nails, hand pains, or just in general. When I’m not using it I easy put it in my glovebox or purse.

I have 3 car seats on one row. I hand this to my 3 year old who sits in the middle seat while I unbuckle the other two car seats. Very helpful and She is able to unlatch the harness after how I showed her how to use it once. (I attached it to a lanyard and keep in my glove box)

We absolutely loved this tool and thought it was the answer to our problem, until it completely fell apart. I don’t know what plastic it is made of, but the pieces just seemed to melt away from each other and now it is hanging by a thread. Zero mishandling or misuse, and it just crumbles. Not worth the money if it can’t hold up doing the job it is designed for.

I bought this for my mom & dad who take our son out weekly and in the first day of using it, she said this is awesome! Game changer. Such a simple but great tool to take the stress out of unbuckling - some days every second counts when you've got a squirmy toddler! They use it due to mobility in thumbs.

I have my nails done all the time and I can NEVER get the baby car seat buckles open. This opens it within seconds, honestly a life saver (and for my nails). I have one for my car and my husband’s car.

My 3 and 5 year old can unbuckle their seatbelt harness using this! Very handy, and great for those of us with long nails!
