The charger is well-built and sturdy with a beefy power cable. The design is light and feels like it is quality construction especially the handle. The overall LED and display is simple and clean, providing the right information. I looked across a LOT of the EV chargers and this one looked the best. While I had an issue with mine, Support was super responsive on the first request and follow-ups. This is really important. All of them can have issues. What differentiates the product and company is how quickly they address the issue. Very satisfied!!

I need to leave a review cuz I bought this in July 2020 (four years ago) and this charger still works perfectly! Background: I own a Nissan Leaf 2015. I drive 50 miles daily for work and because of the range of this car, I have to charge it overnight almost every day. Charging condition: I live in New York, and I don't live in a place with a garage, I just plug the charger inside and leave a small gap in the window for the cord. The rest is always exposed to the outdoors without any issues. I've changed my car in the rain, storm, and snow season - without issues at all. Automatically stops charging when the car is fully charged: I've left the charger plugged into the car when I'm away for weeks, there's only a couple percentage of battery leaks because it stopped charging once the car is fully charged. Fair enough.

I do many online purchases. This by far is one of the best products that I have invested in. The installation is very simple and the product is superb.

UPDATE: After just a few months has started dying after charging the car for a very short time. Very frustrating but it seems that this has happened to others much sooner. My EV came with a 240v charging unit and an adapter to convert it to a 110v one, only trouble was it couldn't fit the outside wall outlet in the carport I park in. This dedicated 110v charger alleviates that problem and comes with hanger for cable and a wall plug to keep the car connector neatly out of the way. A month after buying it went into error state, it was the first hot day of the year It seems to throttle charging and then goes into an error state. Had to run to a charging station before driving to work to be able to get enough charge to get there and back and went back to using my car makers 240 volt unit with an adapter for 110v use. Looks like it would have been cheaper to install 30 or 50 amp outlet than buy this unit.

It works well. Takes about 12 hours to charge 30 miles on my plug in hybrid. Bought it because the OEM charger was swiped by the previous owner of the vehicle. I've had no problems with it, except one time I tried to charge the car while it was in the driveway using an extension cord. This was a bad idea. The extension cord female plug melted and fused (although it was still charging fine), as it's probably not made to handle the constant high load that comes with charging. From then on I charge in the attached garage. (in cold climate, which hasn't been an issue, so far). I cut off the wire and replaced the ends (of both the extension cord and the plug). Now it's working again, but not going to use an extension cord in the future. Plug into outlet only.

This charger is much better than the one that came with the car. (2012 Chevy Volt) There are no overheating issues with fuses or any other BS that Chevy made. I've had it for a month and my electric bill is cheaper than it was when I had used the original charger. Wake up Chevy! If you do some research oh, you will find that the original charger had an overheating problem that not only melted the plug it also started fires. I was a bit hesitant buying charger from Japan, but it works much better then the original Chevy charger. It only cost $200. If you shop for a replacement you will find that they start around $300 on up. Quite the rip-off! So if you don't want to get ripped off by Chevy go through Amazon and Walmart and get yourself products that actually works. I was charged $98 for my local Chevy dealer to tell me that they can't even touch it. I got burned. So I'd like to save you from getting burn like I did. Just replace it will the $200 one. It works fantastic!!!

Used this for over a month now, it is not fast by any stretch of the imagination. However, if you don't have a 220V outlet, then this works for evening+overnight charging. It's definitely better than nothing at all our if you don't drive too much. The key is that it charges as fast as some of the more expensive level 1 chargers and is MUCH less expensive the three ones the manufacturer tries to sell.

We have had this charger for 1 year and one month. It worked perfectly until today when it stopped charging the car. We can still charge on other chargers so we are confident that it is a malfunction of the charger.

Llevamos 15 días usando el producto y ha funcionado bien para un BMW 330e híbrido carga completa en 4 horas una vez al día por que el vehículo se usa solo para el traslado al trabajo en la ciudad (CDMX) se recomienda una línea de luz solo para eso ya que si se usa por ejemplo el microondas deja de cargar y hay que desenchufar y volver a conectar hasta ahorita 12 enero 22 estamos satisfechos

Viene en una caja blanca sin logos y dentro un maletín negro para fácil transportación. Lo utilizo con un Mini Cooper Countryman PHEV en una toma común y corriente y se carga en aproximadamente 3/4 horas. Hasta el momento sin problema.

Lo compré para mi Tesla pero da error sin embargo lo conecte a Nissan Leaf y sirve
