Amazon Basics Big and Tall Mesh Office Chair with Adjustable Armrests, Lumbar Support, Adjustable Height, 400lbs Capacity, Black

I finally found a decent office chair for us Big & Tall folks. It's built like a Sherman tank - tough and easy to work on. The graphic instructions at the back of the manual are among the best I've seen, and it only takes one tool (the supplied Allen wrench) to assemble. They even put the Loctite already on the screws for you! Once assembled I found the seat to be firm and supporting, and finally I've got a seat height where my feet are flat on the ground. This is a well thought out design for us larger folk and easy to assemble.

I’ve gone through my share of office chairs over the years, including some that cost close to $1,000 with all the bells and whistles - vibrating backrests, dozens of levers, fancy lumbar systems - you name it. But nothing ever compared to the simple, basic chair I bought at OfficeMax over a decade ago. Unfortunately, that chair's pneumatic piston eventually gave out, and the store is long gone. I’ve been hesitant about Amazon Basics products in the past. Some of them have felt a little... well, basic. But I found this chair, and I figured worst case, I’d send it back. I’m happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. This is easily the most comfortable chair I’ve owned in years. It has a nice wide seat (wider than my old one, which is a welcome upgrade), excellent back support, and just enough padding and adjustability to keep me comfortable through long workdays. For a simple, no-frills chair, this absolutely nails it. It’s everything I needed without overcomplicating things. I’ve officially changed my opinion on Amazon Basics - at least when it comes to office chairs. 5 stars. Highly recommend if you’re looking for comfort, simplicity, and solid value.

Not going to win any awards but super solid

Good chair, comparable to more expense models. Easy to assemble. Very sturdy.

I'm 6 ft tall, 200 pounds. I'm fine in normal size chairs, but I bought this one because I wanted durability in this price range. It is a super strong chair. It feels solid when I lean back in the chair, put my feet up on the table and watch movies on my monitor. Does it have the same ergonomic feel as expensive chairs - No. But it is comfortable and easy to sit for hours.

I was able to assemble this chair on my own. The chair itself is probably good for a large person. It is way to big for me and my small home office. The problem is: I can't return it, as I would have to dis-assemble it which is nearly impossible. So I am giving away a brand new chair.

I am a large person and Needed chairs for dining room, they worked perfect for what I needed. Easy to use, no problems. Easy to assemble.

This is an extremely comfortable chair. The seat is much wider from arm to arm than many office chairs, and also longer from front edge to the seatback than others. The arms are comfortable. Very adjustable arms for finding maximum comfort. Lumbar support is the best I've had in a seat other than my BMW X5. Biggest criticism is the wheels. Flimsy, not easy to roll.

Got this for my brother who's a bigger guy, and it's certainly true to the description, it's very comfortable, nice height and shape.

Bought for my dad who has a very small room with a desk. He's happy with it

Large chair, perfect!
