it a basic toolbox but it was exactly what i was looking for! it has a very retro look to it which i like a lot and there is plenty of room for stuff. the lock seems very secure although i wish there were two. it is build very tough and the handle makes it easy to transport. it is a very functional tool box and looks very nice.

Great little toolbox for my RC portable box. Well made and has a certain touch of class being from Japan. It is metal and should be very durable for the long haul. It is very handy and functions well for my use as it latches securely and has a comfortable handle. If you need a compact toolbox and can spend a little more than a plastic box, I can heartily recommend it.

I'm extremely satisfied with this toolbox and will be buying more. I really like that there are no seams, just one piece of stamped carbon steel for the bottom, and another for the lid. The steel is sturdy and plenty thick to be durable. Everything is steel, the handle, latches, all of it. The latches open and close easily while still being tight enough to keep the lid from rattling when it's closed, and are sturdy enough to hold a lot of weight. I am not worried about it falling open while carrying it loaded with tools. The blue paint on this toolbox is gorgeous, and that's not something you hear much about tools this box is an actual investment and makes my more expensive plastic boxes look cheap sitting among them I absolutely plan on buying more.

Nothing more needs to be said. The perfect small toolbox. Durable, looks great, good storage capacity, don’t sleep on it.

I purchased 3 of these in 2014, filled them with tools for my then older teen sons, and gifted them for Christmas, thinking it would be practical, but not appreciated until they were older. THEY HAVE LOVED THESE since the moment they got them, and they have used them countless times. These boxes are fantastic, heavy duty, and hard to dent or scratch. My only wish is that they were just a little bit larger, because honestly, you just never seem to have enough room for all the tools you aquire, but for a good standard hand tool kit, this is fantastic. You should however note, there is just no way you are fitting a power tool inside this box, this would be exclusively for a small set of basic powerless hand tools.

This is a pretty cool tool box. It's really still made in Japan. Fit and finish looks great and the colors absolutely pop on it. I don't know that I would recommend it for tool storage because it's metal and would probably make a racket in transport, but it has great aesthetic value where you want a tool box to blend in as decor or a tool box that makes an identity statement.

Beauty of a tool box. Love the crisp clack of the latch. With be using for coleman repair toolbox for camping. It holds just the right amount for tools and parts. Used the packing box to line the tool box.

This little tool box is exactly what we wanted. It needed to be small enough to fit on the tractor without getting in the way. The box seems to be made very well. It is slightly smaller at 11 inches, than the posted measurements of 12 inches but for us that is fine. I think the difference is the bottom is slightly smaller than the top. The depth of the box is just over 4 inches and front to back 5.5 inches at the bottom (top is slightly wider). We needed something to put a few tools in so we aren't walking across the field back to the garage for a screw driver. Most of the implements have their own tool box but the tractor did not. This holds the essential tools we might need for a minor adjustment. After having it for 28 years we thought it was time for a tool box, lol. Great purchase.
