I buy a fair amount of eXtremeRate products. I like to customize my controllers. These are high quality and perfectly compatible. The tools they send will work and I’ve used them before, but I do tend to use my own tools. Color consistency is amazing, I have matched multiple consoles for my girlfriend. If you work on electronics, these are super easy to install, if you are a beginner, watch the videos and make sure you have a clean and clear workspace.

The Heaven Blue eXtremeRate Replacement D-pad, R1, L1, R2, and L2 trigger set is a fantastic way to personalize your PS5 controller without sacrificing quality or functionality. It's me. I'm the klutz. 😅 My boyfriend bought me a new PS5 as a gift, and I did like it. But the controller was just so simple and, well, not pink. I have a love of pink that borders on unhealthy. I bought this kit and it came with everything I needed to actually do it myself. It came with a screwdriver and pry tools that let me get into the controller and replace the various parts. It included a QR code to a YouTube tutorial for the installation that I was actually able to follow with relative ease. I ordered a couple of other pink/white replacement parts from this seller that I installed at the same time, which I'm very proud of. I did struggle in some places and may have accidentally slashed my thumb when one of the pry tools slipped. But that just means I bled for my pink controller. It's never leaving my desk, now! I actually didn't replace the dpad or the main 4 buttons because the replacement buttons didn't have the symbols on them (and I wasn't about to have an asymmetrical color scheme by only replacing the dpad). Even after playing on some incarnation of a PlayStation for 20+ years, I still sometimes forget which button is where. I still need to be able to look at my controller once in awhile to remember which button is X. Again, klutz. 😅 The replacement buttons don't quite have the same smooth polished feel that the OEM buttons come with. But, this slightly rougher surface does help you keep a better grip on the triggers. Can't tell if it's a production error or a feature at this point. Still feels fine to me, and the buttons still work fine. Satisfying feeling, decent quality, and a good (albeit blind) look for a reasonable price, with instructions that even a silly-brained pink-headed gal can follow with minimal injury. 😛

Make sure your controller is compatible before purchasing these!! My triggers and bumpers did not fit my model of controller and that was entirely my fault. There is a separate listing for the 010 and 020 models. The front buttons fit just fine so I thought it was the company's issue. Turns out it was mine for not double checking my model. Whoops.

Holy cow! I almost crapped myself doing this! Don't get me wrong, the instructions are great, easy to follow, and over all the process was a lot simpler than I thought it would be. My issue was at the 13:47 mark of the instruction video. I went to grab that pin for the trigger and... where did it go?... I laid it down with the rest of the items, but it was gone! I moved everything around even ended up cleaning my desk off thinking it may have rolled under something. I checked the floor, my pockets, and even my shoes. Couldn't find that sucker anywhere...! After 45 Minutes of searching I finally resigned myself to getting a new Controller, and began putting what I could back together and GUESS WHAT I FOUND STUCK TO THE HAPTIC MOTOR! That little sucker must have rolled a little and got picked up by the magnetic part of the motor. SO... Pay attention folks and check the magnets! On to the review! First off, I bought this product knowing full well that it was NOT fully compatible with the newer model (BDM-20, CFI-ZCT1W A, in my case) but wanted to see what was different. I physically compared each new button with the OEM button prior to replacement. And I can say with full confidence that all buttons EXCEPT the L2 & R2 trigger buttons work without any issues. The interior, to include the clip seen in the video, prevent the trigger from fully depressing (by almost a 1/4 inch), and the stop prevents it from fully extending (by a tiny, almost negligible bit). I ended up replacing all the buttons but the triggers, and while viewing from playing position you can't even see the triggers anyway. (See pictures). All in all, I am very happy with this item, and will purchase V2 when it comes out, and just replace the triggers.

Very good quality product from a great modding company.. This controller is fully loaded with extremerate mods for the ps5 duel sense controller.. To finish of the back paddles and trigger switches, I bought there button pack to fit at the same time.. Comes with clear instructions, via the YouTube channel.. and all the tools and extras you may need if you miss place something.. Buttons are good quality, and a good replacement for the original buttons.. 👍 Only thing that I would change is the price.. just wish it was a little cheaper or the choice to build a full conversion pack for the duelsense as a discounted package.. buying the multiple items together.. Just waiting the replacement colour coded faceplate to arrive and the controller will be complete.. Ps I would recommend the back button mod to others for this controller.. fairly easy to fit..

Son espectaculares y funcionan muy bien sin ningún tipo de atasco, por poner alguna pega... lo mas entretenido cambiar los botones r2 y l2, por la complejidad de desmontar las piezas donde van colocados, pero con un buen tutorial no hay problema ninguno. Sin duda una compra excelente para darle un toque diferente a tu mando dualsense.

Wer technisch begabt ist und den es nicht abschreckt seinen neuen Controller auseinander zu bauen, für den die Kaufempfehlung. Die Tasten L2 und R2 sind schon sehr aufwendig zu Tauschen. Dafür müssen die adaptiven Trigger Gehäuse geöffnet werden um darin die Achse zu ziehen damit die Tasten (L2 oder R2) entfernt und ersetzt werden können.
