This is my 3rd purchase of this product, the first was 3 years ago, so all three are still working strong, great for LED projects.

The item is good value for money and was bought to replace my existing 30w unit as added 2 extra lights. Very difficult to get the 0.5mm cables securely into tiny connectors particularly working in a loft space by torchlight.

Better to over-spec the transformer if in any doubt, in my view. I calculated that a 30 was needed, the additional cost to 60 being minimal.

Worked perfectly, replaced a failed unit driving under counter leds … took ten minutes !! Many thanks, super quick delivery too …

I used two of these transformers to replace the plug-in power supplies provided by Philips for their Hue light strips. This does invalidate the guarantee, but seeing as I've had the lights strips for six years, that hardly matters. These transformers are rated at 30W and so are well up to the job as the power supplies only provide 20W maximum. Get an electrician to install if you do not have the requisite training or knowledge.

I needed a very compact led transformer, and this fitted the requirement, only complaint is that the wire connections are too small to fit a mains cable
