I got this for my 3 year old niece to use at the pool and she loves it! She feels confident enough in it to paddle around on her own and it gives her arms enough freedom that she can really properly practice the arm motions necessary for swimming and put it together with the kicking motion. She actually paddles around the pool very quickly now with this on. She loves these floaties, she loves that it looks like a mermaid. I’m glad I bought these because a few weeks ago I couldn’t get her to leave the pool steps, even with a life vest on and me holding her in my arms. With these she feels comfortable enough to jump right in the pool on her own (which is a bit frightening but the vest does’t a good job of keeping her head above water). Obviously you need to stay close and keep an eye on your child in the water even with these wings on because a child can drown in a short moment and it happens a lot more frequently than you might expect but overall these are very safe.

I’ve been spending a lot of time with a friend’s granddaughter who is almost six this month. I wanted to take her to the pool, but my own mom was quite worried about her safety since she is in the beginning stages of learning how to swim. She’s also not tall enough to stand with her head above water in a 3’ 6’’ shallow end. So, I bought this! And it worked perfectly. It is coast guard approved so you can take it to the pool even if they restrict regular floats, and it allowed her to go wherever she wanted in the pool with ease. Fit her great, too, and the mermaid design was a great bonus. She could float around and kick her legs as much as she wanted with her head remaining above water. Would be great for lakes too! Definitely recommend!

Purchased for my 18 month old to wear at a large waterpark, so that she didn’t have to wear her bulky life jacket. This was the way to go!!! She never fussed about wearing it. Only thing I wish it had was a piece of string connecting the back of the two arm bands, as they kept slipping down her arms- but it didn’t hinder her playing at all! Seems well made and was extremely easy to put on her.

Absolutely a must have for a little one learning to swim . It’s amazing and completely has changed our days at the pool . She’s also learning to kick better thanks to this allows her more freedom in the pool .

Awesome product!! Love that it is bluey, and safe for our son swimming. It feels super durable, my son said it was very comfy, and fit perfectly and let him swim and play in any way he wanted, and I was happy to see him upright in the deeper water and confident due to his new swim vest. Loved the price too.

Bought this for my 2 year old, and it is very easy to put on, and seems decent quality. Fits very close to the baby, so there is no fear of slipping off. It is a bit snug, but once in the water it raises a bit, so it I am guessing it is supposed to be. All in all, very good value for the price, but would not recommend for any toddlers older than 2 years old, unless they are on the more petite side, more suited for babies 2 and under, as it isn’t super adjustable.

My grandson is just learning how to swim. And I was concerned about having to get him into a life jacket to go in to our pool. Did a little research and LOVED that it is recommended by the US coastguard. We have used it recently and he has so much freedom and movement!! And!!! Stays afloat perfectly without us having to hold him while he swims. Definitely a recommendation on this product for any concerned Gramma, Grampa, Mom or Dad!
