The only difference is the resistance level and the design of the base. VariGrip Sport has a wider base and the resistance level range is slightly higher than the D'Addario version, which is deisgned for musicians.

The key difference is that you can exercise each individual finger, and these are much more ergonomic in design. If you are comparing to a 90lbs grip strengthener, you may also want to consider VariGrip Sport PRO, as it has a higher resistance range (9-12lbs/finger).

Good product but could have stiffer springs

Decent product and the adjustability is good as can be tailored to each finger. Only downside is that for some of my fingers even the stiffest setting isnt enough.
