These scissors are made in Germany, as stated on the package, and mine was shipped directly from Germany. The customs clearance process was surprisingly fast and completed within a day. A word of caution: these scissors are extremely sharp, so handle them carefully. I accidentally cut my index finger while unboxing them for the first time. While the sanitation wipes worked well for cleaning them, I recommend extra care to avoid similar mishaps. It would be great if the manufacturer included a bold warning about the sharpness on the packaging for extra precaution.
