Oxford First Atlas

Brought as a gift for a 6 year old, lovely illustrations and easy to learn facts

Lovely book, lots of very clear, easy to read maps, lots of little bits of information on the countries but not too much so doesn't confuse or overwhelm with information. The pages of all the flags are a favourite with my son. Overall, a really good book for young kids and after a few weeks my four year old son is now better at geography than me!!!

A welcome addition to my granddaughter's book collection. It has lots of interesting statistics that one would not normally search for - so lots of serendipity.

My 7 year old is already flying through this book and learning so much. Great buy, just one bit of confusion though, the book lists Oceania as a continent however her school has it as Australia.

After reading the reviews i purchased the Atlas.My Grandson (5yrs) sits in the car and uses a big map, i ask him which way we need to go and he says left or right.At school he is learning about where he lives and other countries so i thought this would keep his interest going and we can look at it together. Thank you

Very suitable for my bright 5 year old grandson. I also found it quite interesting myself as Geography wasn't one of my best subjects. It's informative, attractive and easy to understand.

Many atlases that I had looked at for my granddaughter aged 6, had too many pages of writing before reaching the pages of maps, This one was ideal as the maps appear straight away in the book with a little bit of writing to go with them. This was certainly the best one that I saw for her age.
