I like this Stardock Drive Eraser dock. Easy to use, and always do a greate job. Very good quality also. Its only one thing i didnt like. The eraser dock couldnt handle WD VelociRaptor hard-drive ? The eraser dock become dangerous hot, and couldnt finish the eraser job with WD Velociraptor disks. But the Eraser dock works fine on all other disks. Another thing ... The price is to expensive for many customer. This item could sell much more if the price was lower. I almost canseled my order because of the expensive price, not because of the quality of the product. I hope more people could afford to buy this greate product, and experiance the eraser dock tool on their hard-drives. Blessings from Tony - Norway

My StarTech eraser arrived well packaged; "the construction build is outstanding" and menu selection is more than sufficient to do the job. I even used recovery method's in attempt to recover information from the drive after it was sanitized and failed. The unit lived up to it's name and passed with flying colors, I highly recommend this item when it comes to sensitive information removal.

Works great for sanitizing harddisks and SSD Only gripe is the questionable choice to only support the ancient esc/p protocol for printing as there are no printers that support it. They should've just left the printing feature off or support the esc/pos protocol so any off the shelf receipt printer could be used. It can export the logs to a harddisk though so you can still export the evidence

Difficult to set up a printer - no support from Startech. User manual is verey limited and isnt informative when explaining the different modes.
